Chapter: Chapter 13
*Glug, glug.* Bai Ya sat stiffly on the soft sofa, daring not to move.
She hadn’t expected that they didn’t sell ready-made clothes here, but rather custom-made ones.
At this moment, her sister had already been pushed into a small room by a designer with sparkling eyes. Beside her, several designer ladies were surrounding Leticia.
“Miss, don’t you want to get an outfit made? The clothes here are the best quality in Central City.”
“Little sister, believe in our abilities. The clothes we make will definitely showcase your strengths to the fullest.”
“Little sister…”
Leticia scowled, covered her ears, and shook her head desperately. “I already said I don’t need it! Can’t you go bother that white-haired girl inside?”
“Ahem, but there’s already someone in there. We have to queue too,” one lady chuckled. “Miss and that lady are evenly matched. It’s a stroke of luck to see both of you at once.”
“I don’t have money, I can’t afford your clothes!” Leticia declared that unlike Bai Ling, she was a poor person who couldn’t even stop herself from spending money on microtransactions.
“If it’s to make clothes for you, Miss, it’s not impossible to do it for free.”
“Please allow me to refuse.”
After an incredibly long back-and-forth, Leticia was finally freed because Bai Ling emerged from the small room.
The group of ladies immediately left Leticia’s side and swarmed Bai Ling, chattering incessantly. This caused Leticia to wear a smug, gloating smile.
Bai Ling, who had just emerged from the room a few seconds ago, was pushed back inside. Her bewildered expression indicated that she was not good at handling such situations.
“So comfortable.” Leticia suppressed the urge to burst out laughing; Bai Ling’s expression just now was too amusing.
“Miss Su, it’s your turn now,” but soon, Leticia’s happiness ended. The designer lady who had just been intimately interacting with Bai Ling walked up to Leticia and said softly.
“What?”
“Miss Bai said she wants to buy a few outfits for you as well. Her request is to highlight your cuteness as much as possible,” the short-haired designer lady smiled at Leticia. “Coincidentally, this is my specialty.”
“This isn’t necessary, I feel like what I’m wearing now is already quite good,” Leticia quickly shook her head.
This scoundrel Bai Ling was actually tricking her this way.
“It’s necessary, very necessary!” It wasn’t the designer lady who spoke, but Bai Ya, who had been observing quietly, suddenly jumped up from the sofa and grabbed Leticia’s arm.
She forcefully pulled Leticia up from her seat, ignoring Leticia’s resistance, and pushed her into the room on the other side.
*Bang, click.* The lady with a peculiar smile locked the door.
“Honestly, what is this Bai Ling fellow thinking?” Leticia sighed.
Leticia didn’t resist when Bai Ya pushed her earlier for two reasons. The first was that she didn’t want to upset Bai Ya.
The second reason was that she was indeed interested in this designer.
“It’s just the two of us now, you don’t need to act anymore, Spider Demon.” To the designer lady’s surprised gaze, Leticia saw through her identity in one sentence.
“How did you find out?” The lady adjusted her glasses, asking somewhat confusedly. “My disguise should have been flawless.”
“But there were still some slight flaws, not difficult to discover for me or for her,” Leticia replied calmly. “Tell me, how much bad stuff have you done in the human world?”
But the spider demon revealed an innocent and harmless smile. “I am a law-abiding citizen. I haven’t done anything bad.”
As she spoke, she took out a small black booklet from her pocket. “Here, permanent resident permit for foreign races. I’m legally staying here.”
*Hiss…* Leticia was dumbfounded. She really hadn’t expected such a thing to exist in the human world.
So, in the end, she was the one who was here illegally?
“I really love designing clothes for little girls. All the school uniforms for girls in every primary school in Central City were designed by me,” the spider demon’s eyes gleamed with fanatical light. “And you are the most perfect girl I have ever seen!”
“So, please allow me to make clothes for you!”
No… what is this…
Leticia took a step back. From this woman, she detected a hint of perversion.
Could this person be a lolicon?
“I’m not a loli,” Leticia stated that she had already surpassed the definition of a loli in both height and age.
“No, no,” the woman shook her head very seriously. “I like cute girls, and Miss Su, you are the cutest girl I have ever seen.”
Cute? Leticia was stunned speechless.
Her? Cute?
Where on her could be associated with cuteness?
Spiders have so many eyes, didn’t they all go blind?
“Cough, I just need to take a visual estimate. Please stand still,” the spider demon coughed twice, suppressing her somewhat deranged expression. “It’s free, consider it my gift to you.”
