“So ugly…” Leticia said softly, looking at the black doll Bai Ling had taken several tries to grab with a hint of disdain. “Is this your aesthetic? It’s so weird.”
Bai Ling blushed slightly. “I think this doll is quite pretty.”

But Bai Ling shook her head. She stuffed the doll she had grabbed into Leticia’s arms and whispered, “No, it’s for you.”

Leticia looked at the adorably ugly doll in her arms, her expression changing rapidly.

“Mhm, mhm.” Seeing that Leticia had accepted her gift, Bai Ling’s face instantly broke into a radiant smile.

Looking at the girl’s smiling face, Leticia was lost in thought for a moment. Seeing such a beautiful sight, accepting the ugly doll didn’t seem like such a bad deal.
Come to think of it, that doll, well, amongst its ugliness there was still a tiny bit of cuteness.
“Let’s go, it’s almost noon. Let’s find a place to eat.” Leticia turned her head and walked towards the main entrance.

This answer was not unexpected for Bai Ling. She had already picked out the lunch spot for their outing before they came out, and it wasn’t far from here.
She could go with Leticia in a very natural way.
“Let me see. Let’s walk this way a few steps first.” Bai Ling pointed in a direction. “There are more food options over there.”
“Okay.”
After walking for a few minutes and entering the food court of the commercial street, Bai Ling put on a surprised expression and said to Leticia, “There’s a restaurant here that’s having a promotion!”
