“Calm down, calm down, there’s no benefit in killing her, right?” Seeing that Leticia was about to start beating people, Xue’er, dressed in black, quickly stopped her.
After all, this little fellow was still a demon, a subject of Leticia.
She should have been following Kyra’s orders, and Xue’er felt bad about her suffering such undeserved disaster.
Leticia snorted indignantly: “I think this little girl won’t say anything until she’s had a taste of hardship.”
“I’m not little, I’m over twenty!” Emily declared that she was not a little girl.
“Twenty is very old, I’m almost thirty.” Leticia immediately retorted, not realizing that the conversation seemed to be drifting in a strange direction.
Of course, her last remark was just a joke; although her age was a bit advanced, it wasn’t quite thirty.
She was only a few years older than Emily, that’s all.
“Then your development is really not going well, old auntie~” Emily taunted.
This white-clothed person who claimed to be thirty was almost half a head shorter than Emily. If this wasn’t stunted development, what was?
Leticia was furious. Her height had always been her eternal pain. Girls in the Demon King’s family seemed to be petite like this. Her mother was like this, as were Kyra and herself.
Judging solely from their appearance, one wouldn’t be able to tell that their family was a royal family leading the demons. Perhaps this was the so-called “people cannot be judged by their appearance.”

“Stop adding to the trouble!” Xue’er was on the verge of tears. She had been working hard to protect this傻丫头, but she was desperately seeking her own demise. What could she do?
Leticia was a super vindictive person. She estimated that she would remember these words for a lifetime. This little girl would probably have a miserable future.
“I’m going to rip your mouth open!” Leticia forcibly pried away Xue’er’s hands. “Do you know who I am!”
“You scum hiding your identity, I don’t want to know who you are!”
“You… I…” Leticia pointed at Emily with trembling fingers. She suddenly felt that such a stubborn subordinate was truly speechless.
Logically speaking, Leticia should have been happy that her subordinate was so loyal and spirited.
