Chapter 1584: A Walk
“The same trick won’t work on me twice!” the Werewolf Girl shouted. Her greatsword, covered in extreme frost, slashed down. The Nano-Silver Solution in mid-air was frozen into glittering silver ice blocks and smashed to pieces by the greatsword.
“Your intelligence has improved quite a bit.” I said with a fearless smile, standing beneath the greatsword. She was indeed smarter in her Werewolf form than as a giant wolf; at least she could think now.
Unfortunately, her previous fights were all about assassination and surprise attacks, or relying on her physical strength and regenerative abilities to charge in. Her actual combat skills were very poor, like now, she only focused on me, completely ignoring everyone else.
A black-red light shot over, hitting the sword tip and deflecting the greatsword. She turned her head in shock and saw a semi-transparent figure lunging at her.
Although the Werewolf Girl tried her best to twist her body in mid-air to dodge, she was still directly rammed into by the flying Lorna.
“Ahhh! Get out of my body! Get out!” the Werewolf Girl screamed, but her entire body flickered with ghostly blue spiritual light. She fell to the ground, rolling around, unable to control herself.
Ghost possession was indeed a useful skill. Although the Werewolf Girl still had some strength to struggle, her divinity gave her strong resistance to mental control and possession, but don’t forget we were right beside her.
Karina waved her hand, and several black-yellow shackles made of demonic magic power securely bound the Werewolf Girl. Then, while she was struggling, I took out a silver collar and directly put it around her neck.
“Awooo!?” The moment the collar was put on the Werewolf Girl’s neck, she seemed to completely lose all strength and collapsed on the ground. The Blizzard surrounding her also stopped, and Lorna’s spiritual light quickly occupied every corner of her body.
It was that simple. While werewolves were powerful, immortal, and fearless when enraged, they actually had very obvious weaknesses as Otherworldly beings. When prepared, defeating a werewolf was a very simple matter, which was why normal werewolves never dared to show themselves in public.
Like now, I prepared a collar specifically for capturing werewolves, and I could capture her with ease. This collar was entirely made of silver, and on the inside, there was a row of sharp spikes. If she dared to transform into a werewolf, the silver spikes would pierce her skin, causing her unbearable pain.
“Let me go! You bastard, let me go!” the Werewolf Girl cursed angrily. Although she was still struggling restlessly, her strength was gone due to contact with the silver, and she could only lie on the ground like a puppy.
Thinking about how the Werewolf Girl, who had chased me like a dog before, was now leashed by me like a pet dog, I felt a sense of accomplishment. I pulled the silver chain.
“Awooo! You, you bastard! Just you remember, when I’m free, I’ll kill you a hundred times, awooo!” The pull caused the Werewolf Girl to lose her balance and fall to the ground. She raised her head and roared.
The Seven Gods Priest and the Archmage looked a bit embarrassed. This was their Lord’s daughter, yet she was being bullied like this by an outsider. However, they couldn’t interfere, as they still needed to find a way to heal the Princess from her. They couldn’t be the bad guys, so they could only watch.
“Alright, stop your futile resistance. Take back the curse, or obediently let us draw blood, and I’ll let you go. You can do whatever you want afterward,” I said.
“That’s right, we also promise that you can move freely afterward, as long as you don’t harm Miss Reya again,” the Archmage added.
“Since you know it’s a curse, you want me to take it back and bear it alone? Never! You’ll never get the serum from me!” the Werewolf Girl struggled violently.
Serum refers to the pale yellow transparent liquid separated from the blood after clotting, by removing fibrinogen and certain coagulation factors, or means plasma from which fibrinogen has been removed.
However, to remove the curse from the Princess, ordinary serum extracted from blood wouldn’t suffice. Serum containing divinity was required. While it wasn’t impossible to forcibly obtain it, it would be a bit troublesome if she didn’t cooperate.
“Why be so hostile? Aren’t you sisters with Reya too? What’s your name? We can’t keep not knowing how to address you, can we?” I asked.
“Hmph!” The Werewolf Girl shut her mouth, adopting an attitude of non-cooperation regardless of my words.
“If you don’t tell me, I’ll shave off all your fur and then take you out for a walk,” I said with a smile.
“You dare?!” The Werewolf Girl looked up at me in terror. Her maid outfit had long since burst when she transformed into a werewolf, and now she was only covered by some fur to conceal her private parts.
If her fur were shaved off and she were taken out for a walk, she could imagine herself becoming the center of attention for everyone in the city, with her dignity and privacy completely shattered.
“Pervert!” the girl quietly cursed indignantly. She represented the authority of purity and couldn’t stand such things. Although the Seven Gods Church also looked down on werewolves, considering my personal vendetta with her, the girl felt a bit more sympathy for the Werewolf Girl.
“Your Excellency, isn’t doing this a bit too much? She’s the Duke’s daughter, after all. If you take her out for a walk, what will the Hessen family’s reputation be?” the Archmage asked.
“Otherwise, do you have a way to make her cooperate? Werewolves are proud by nature. If you don’t break their arrogance first, do you expect them to listen?” I retorted.
The Seven Gods Priest and the Archmage were speechless. They knew that with their status and morals, it was difficult for them to bring themselves to do such an excessive thing, which was why they asked us to handle the Werewolf Girl. Their only common goal was to save the Princess.
“That’s right. They are all gentlemen and ladies with status, and they will care about their reputation. But I am a Cultist, and I don’t care about my methods or reputation. I’ll count to three. If you don’t tell me your name, I’ll shave you and we’ll go for a stroll together.” I said.
Everyone was shocked. They never expected anyone to brazenly declare themselves a Cultist in the Duchy’s Palace. They surely didn’t know the Eastern saying, “I am a barbarian.”
“Wuwu…” The Werewolf Girl was clearly scared, but she still stubbornly refused to speak, seemingly not believing I would actually go through with it.
“One, two, three.” I quickly counted to three and gave Karina a look. Karina was still shocked by my words, but seeing my gaze, she immediately understood and waved her hand, unleashing a sword light.
“Swish!” The sparse fur on the Werewolf Girl’s back was instantly shaved clean, revealing a smooth, beautiful back, just like any normal girl’s.
Karina’s swordsmanship was excellent. She managed to shave off all the fur without harming her smooth, tender skin.
