The Elgaire Kingdom was ambushed by Western countries. Upon hearing that the 1st Fortress had fallen, a comrade, acting rashly on the assumption that the Royal Castle’s security was lax, was captured. They had their Magic Nullification stones taken away and were forced into obedience through Mental Magic. One by one, our (the Resistance’s) lairs were raided.
“It’s all his fault!”
“Just run!”
Magic stones with high magic power were brought into the Royal Castle. Then, a person with abnormally high Possessed Magic Power was frequently sighted within the castle.
“What in the world is going on inside the castle?”
“That’s for later. Securing a place that could become our lair is the priority.”
We saw it a few days ago. We run towards the direction of the mysterious light source that descended in the northern sky. A survey team from the castle should be coming. If we’re lucky, we’ll kill that survey team and impersonate them to get into the castle. We will take the head of Heiggel, the man who controlled the Former King Gaien.
Even while moving, lines of light indicating the activation of Mental Magic ran along the ground beneath our feet. We possess stones that nullify it. It’s Okay. The comrades who entered the castle were affected by Mental Magic after their stones were taken. Therefore, it’s Okay.
And so, the Resistance camped at a place with a water source in the northern region, and headed straight north towards where the light source had fallen.
And then.
There was a huge argument among comrades, who, despite having stones, were anxious whether they were affected by magic. The woman who tailed Rayos (Heiggel) was almost raped.
“Hey!”
“Gah!”
Her sleep was light, and the Tailing Woman avoided the crisis of her chastity. She is Kathleen, the former Queen’s ear. She decided to temporarily separate from the commotion of her comrades and fled into the labyrinth. A labyrinth is a comfortable place to escape to, with food and a constant temperature, if one has combat power. If it’s a shallow floor, one only needs to be careful when sleeping and during breaks.
“Why is everyone…”
They know they won’t be affected by magic because they have the stones, yet they’re arguing. It would be easy to tell by putting magic into their eyes that the magic’s output hasn’t increased. This infighting is exactly what that guy (Heiggel) wants…
Kathleen steps on a trap switch disguised as a small stone at her feet.
“Huh? Aaaahhh!”
The traps on the shallow floors don’t have instant death effects or sleeping/paralysis gases that would endanger her life.
Kathleen falls into a pitfall. She sprains her ankle and, while being careful not to be attacked by monsters from above, she spends one night in the labyrinth.
The pain in her ankle subsides. Using her weapon and some unneeded items she had, she escapes the pitfall.
“Haa, haa, worst…”
Kathleen goes to check on the condition of her comrades on the ground.
“…Terrible.”
Near the campsite, she discovers corpses of comrades who had killed each other. She notices traces of attacks by carnivorous beasts and monsters all over the campsite, indicated by footprints.
“I’m lucky to have escaped, but…”
The plan to sneak into the Royal Castle disguised as a survey team cannot be carried out. What should I do?
Rustle, rustle.
“Hah!?”
“Ooh, you’re alive ♪”
“Comrade? Are you alone…?”
“Ah, I’m the only survivor. Unfortunately, everyone else…”
A comrade emerges from the bushes. I try to ask about last night, and I see the bloodstains all over his body. I didn’t want to see it, but the comrade who came out of the bushes was outwardly normal, yet inwardly abnormal. I run. I escaped into the labyrinth… but I’ve been caught.
“Kya!”
“Why are you running ♪?”
As a woman, I cannot win against a man. Even if I strengthen my physical abilities with Mana Control, I lose due to the difference in basic abilities.
The man who was my comrade tears my clothes and forces his fingers into me.
“Stop it!”
“You’re getting wet, I’ve always…!”
“That’s a lie! You’re just escaping because another woman left you, kya!”
“Sh-shut up! Just be violated by me!”
Kathleen is repeatedly raped. While the man searches for other surviving resistance members, she is treated as a sex slave.
“Ugh…”
“Here, hurry up and take my dick in your mouth, alright? Come on, spit it out already!”
The resistance collapsed internally due to anxiety and fear. Rayos’s survey team safely investigated the vicinity of the light source’s crash. They found no traces of anything having fallen and brought that information back to the castle. Knowing that the survey team returned with no results, the great merchants, wanting to curry favor, independently dispatched their own survey units. One of these dispatched survey units discovered the tracks of two people moving.
Rustle, rustle, rustle, rustle.
They engaged in a game of cat and mouse for a day. Another survey unit lay in wait, reaping where they hadn’t sown.
” “Hah!!” ”
The pursuing survey team complains, but…
“We are the ones who captured them. Behind us is Poppo-sama ♪ Are you going to fight ♪? Hmm ♪”
“Damn it, let’s retreat.”
They were taken advantage of by a little more while pursuing. They go to capture someone else. Fighting to the death here is meaningless. The unit leader calmly chooses to withdraw.
“Well now, I’ll treat the woman with care. As for the man, it’s interrogation time ♪”
After having his fingernails torn off and broken, and finally being told he would be cut into pieces, he spills all the information he knows. He is then tied up and taken to the Royal Capital as cargo. Kathleen is confined in a box carriage for escort, with two guards taking turns to watch over them as they head to the Royal Capital.
(I can meet that man…)
She had a sharp small stone hidden in her mouth. If she gets close enough, she’ll pierce his eyes or throat. Having decided to die, she simply waits to reach the Royal Capital.
