Having eliminated a noisy enemy, their morale rose to continue the fight.
We crushed the enemy’s defense line with that momentum. Though, we also suffered considerable sacrifices.
Somehow, we managed to get over the barrier.
We leaped into the outside world— and were immediately met with a barrage of concentrated fire from an ambush unit.

The Aberrant Monsters, using their allies as shields, forcefully closed in on the ambush unit.
They carved out a path to survival.
The monsters used as shields wanted to complain, but a low growl indicated they were currently in battle. They still don’t get along, huh?

By the time the ambush unit had suffered immense damage to half of its forces, enemy reinforcements were confirmed.
I divided our combat power into two.
One tasked with mopping up the remaining enemies, and the other with holding back the enemy reinforcements.
Many volunteered for the task of holding back the enemy.
I sent half of the nearby ones to stop them.
The mopping-up unit was given an opportunity to shine.
To make a self-appeal to Rayos, they unleashed attacks meant to inflict suffering on the enemy soldiers. Not instant death.
The monsters succeeded in showing off their prowess, just as planned, as Rayos witnessed the enemy soldiers screaming in fear of death from internal bleeding and hemorrhaging.
The monsters continued to fight, believing Rayos’s gaze was focused mostly on them.
With the arrival of the holding-back unit, we were now pincer-attacking.
Well, it looked like we had enough combat power to rout them.
I surveyed the survivors of the monsters we had built up again from scratch.
