Chapter 2: New Century (Epilogue)
“Kekeke! Well done!”
The Red Dragon was the best at close combat and was extremely excited by Bryant’s suicidal behavior. It extended its dragon claws to catch Bryant’s body, and violent lightning coursed over it without causing much damage. It twisted its body and pressed Bryant to the ground with its claws.
“Boom—!”
The ground trembled, and rocks cracked.
Bryant was now composed of plasma and molten material, an elemental creature in a semi-solid state. It was very light and couldn’t move at all when pinned down by the Red Dragon. However, due to its special elemental body, the Red Dragon’s claws embedded in its chest didn’t inflict much damage.
Raging plasma roamed the Dragon’s Lair like a group of moving snakes. Wherever it passed, organic matter instantly turned to charcoal. The little Green Dragon, scared, shivered in a corner, its whole body trembling. It was not yet an adult and couldn’t withstand such plasma.
Fortunately, there was a second-level platform in the Dragon’s Lair. After a brief moment of panic, it immediately flew up.
Seeing the two giant dragons fighting fiercely below, it felt like it should do something. Finally, its malicious gaze fell upon the human knight.
If it killed the knight, Luodrak would be very happy, right?
With this thought, it crawled its twenty-meter-long body, like a hunting feline, and slowly moved towards Xi Wei.
Xi Wei noticed the Green Dragon’s actions.
But he pretended not to see it. With so many choices in the Dragon’s Lair, it could have chosen to help the Red Dragon or Bryant, but instead, it ended up choosing a Legendary Knight.
Isn’t that simply asking for death?
But Xi Wei wouldn’t kill the Green Dragon.
Because he had promised to let Bryant return to the King of Conquest Long Sword and then use the King of Conquest Long Sword to pierce the Green Dragon’s rear.
The battle in the Dragon’s Lair gradually escalated.
The Red Dragon finally felt something was wrong. Although this Blue Dragon was a bit smaller, it didn’t hurt no matter how it fought. Its close combat skills were useless. Even if Bryant’s body was torn apart, the fragments would soon gather into plasma again.
On the contrary, the overly concentrated plasma had already caused its magic resistance system to collapse. The lightning had already affected its body, making its muscles stiff and numb, and each movement became slow.
“You’re not going to make it! Luodrak!”
Bryant seized an opportunity to flip the enormous Red Dragon to the ground, then spewed a plasma dragon breath into the Red Dragon’s mouth. However, the Red Dragon twisted its neck, narrowly dodging it. The plasma dragon breath, like a lightning spear, fiercely bored into the ground, leaving a scorched deep pit.
“Lava, heed my command…”
The Red Dragon was about to summon some minions to alleviate the awkward situation when, the next second, Bryant shoved its dragon claws into its mouth.
“Bang!”
There was a violent explosive reaction between the lightning and the inner walls of the dragon’s mouth.
The scorching lightning plasma continued to seep inward, threatening to tear apart the Red Dragon’s respiratory organs.
The summoning magic was forcibly interrupted, and the Red Dragon took another mouthful of plasma, feeling its entire dragon brain becoming somewhat numb.
“Aren’t you very arrogant? Luodrak?”
Bryant grinned sinisterly and rode on the Red Dragon. Its massive dragon wings, forged from lightning, slowly drooped. Lightning plasma dripped from its wings, splashing hot electric sparks on the damp ground.
As an elemental creature, it had lost the ability to cast spells with Dragon Speech and could only cast some lightning elemental magic, but it was more than enough.
“Roar—!”
The Red Dragon struggled with all its might, letting out a deafening wail.
But its paralyzed body made it difficult to counter effectively. At this moment, Bryant had already turned around.
Its lightning-forged lightning claws precisely seized the Dragon Kun that the Red Dragon had meticulously raised.
“It’s you! You stole my Dragon’s Lair, you stole my Mother Dragon! You useless creature who only knows how to mate, now it’s time for you to pay the price!!”
Bryant’s dragon claws, like steel tongs, tightly gripped the Dragon Kun, and the lightning all over its body surged towards its dragon claws like a tide.
“Bang—!” a thunderclap sounded, and so did the Red Dragon’s wail.
Bryant felt the Dragon Kun in its hand gradually become soft from hard, then hard again, becoming smaller and smaller until it was completely carbonized. Then, with a forceful pull, the entire carbonized Dragon Kun was directly pulled out by it.
The Red Dragon fought back desperately, its thick dragon tail sweeping over. The dragon tail pierced Bryant’s body, but Bryant didn’t even grunt.
Its dragon tail was wrapped around the Red Dragon’s neck, and its sharp lightning dragon claws dug into the Red Dragon’s abdomen, one by one, along the pit where the Dragon Kun had been removed. It tore open the abdominal cavity bit by bit, then opened its dragon mouth and poured a mouthful of plasma dragon breath into it.
“No! I surrender! I’ll give you back the Dragon’s Lair! I’ll give you back the Green Dragon too! Spare me!”
The Red Dragon beat the ground with its dragon tail; this was a signal of surrender.
“Sorry, Luodrak, you have lost your chance to live. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have entered the Kairid Empire. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have been contaminated and wouldn’t have ultimately become this kind of elemental creature. You will experience this pain with me!!”
Bryant unnaturally threaded its neck through its legs.
Its purple dragon eyes, flashing with lightning, stared intently at the Red Dragon, whose pupils were dilated with pain and despair. Within them was a cruel and mocking intent.
“Please…”
The Red Dragon wailed, almost crying.
It had been an adult for a long time and was about to become an Adult Dragon.
It was almost foreseeable that as long as it continued to live and didn’t provoke those who couldn’t afford to offend, with its talent, it would have no problem becoming an ancient dragon. At that time, where in the world could it not go?!
So it didn’t want to die. It lowered its proud head.
“You must die. This is my will, and it is also the Master’s will,” Bryant said coldly.
Plasma dragon breath condensed in its throat. This time, the target was to blow the Red Dragon’s head to pieces.
On its once stubborn and proud dragon face, the scales had already fallen off and were in a terrible state.
“You’re not killing me! Tiamat, Queen of the Chromatic Dragons, forbids the Chromatic Dragons from killing each other!”
Looking at the gradually destructive lightning, the Red Dragon felt a chill run down its spine.
“Sorry, as you can see, I am an elemental creature!” Bryant said expressionlessly.
The violent lightning finally engulfed the Red Dragon’s head. They raged in the scaled flesh and blood, carbonizing everything in their path. In the end, Bryant simply extended its claws and squeezed lightly, and the Red Dragon’s head turned into a pile of black powder.
At the same time, on the other side.
“Boom—!”
The ground trembled, accompanied by the Green Dragon’s pained howl.
Xi Wei also threw the Green Dragon to the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw and kicked it in front of Bryant.
