Under Chu Yun’s command, the Sky Fox circled the Green Fang Snake, spitting out small fireballs while moving. These fireballs accurately struck the Green Fang Snake.
The Green Fang Snake, struck repeatedly, let out pained hisses. Each small fireball made its body tremble violently.
“How can this be?!” Madam Shu’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Shu Er also panicked. He hadn’t expected the counterattack to be so swift!
He wanted to use his venom spray to counter the Sky Fox’s attack but it was too late. The Green Fang Snake’s demonic energy was now less than a tenth of the Sky Fox’s.
The cost was too great. He was finally tasting the bitter fruit of his earlier arrogance.
“Green Fang Snake, Grass Leaf Armor!” In desperation, he decided to focus on defense.
Grass Leaf Armor was a defensive Cultivation Method similar to the Red Lotus Armor. Once activated, it covered the Green Fang Snake’s body with what looked like a woven garment of green leaves.

“Winning against a stronger opponent! Young Chu Yun did brilliantly!” Old Fish King said with great satisfaction.
“The Island Lord has heirs! If he knew this, imagine how happy he’d be!” Old Monkey Qiao sighed contentedly.
The Altar Beast Tamer nodded. Chu Yun’s victory in this battle was truly brilliant, showcasing his wisdom as a Beast Tamer through excellent tactics.
“Now, I announce that the second assessment is won by Chu Yun…”
“Wait! I haven’t lost yet!” Hearing the Altar Beast Tamer’s announcement, Shu Er suddenly trembled and reacted, his face contorted with rage and his eyes bloodshot as he shouted.
“Still not giving up? Have you been blinded by anger and humiliation?” Chu Yun observed coldly, seeing Shu Er’s state at a glance.
He was indeed blinded.

The Altar Beast Tamer was stunned. He wanted to stop this foolish act but couldn’t voice it.

Seeing Shu Er charging at him like a madman, Chu Yun let out a cold snort and stopped the Sky Fox from intervening.
“Overestimating yourself,” he scoffed. As Shu Er reached him, Chu Yun suddenly stepped forward and delivered a fierce punch to Shu Er’s abdomen!
“Ugh—!”
Shu Er’s body doubled over like a shrimp, his eyes nearly popping out. His face turned ashen, his mouth agape, his tongue sticking out. His expression was a mixture of shock and immense pain.
He slowly crouched on the ground, trembling, breaking out in a cold sweat, and gasping for breath.
His earlier frenzy had completely evaporated.
“With your body weakened by indulgence, you dare to fight? There’s a limit to stupidity!” Chu Yun said with a smile, exuding a chilling aura. He suddenly raised his foot and kicked directly at Shu Er’s front teeth.
With a dull thud, Shu Er was sent flying and then slammed back onto the ground.
His body contorted like a shrimp, trembling violently as he clutched his mouth and cried out, blood seeping through his fingers.
“You dare hit me? You actually dared to hit me! You’re dead! You’re dead!” His expression was filled with disbelief, his voice trembling, yet he continued to rage.
Chu Yun walked closer. Shu Er looked panicked and scrambled backward on the ground.
“Didn’t you call me a coward? Said you wanted to fight me? Well, here I am,” Chu Yun said with a faint smile. He walked up to Shu Er, clenched his right fist, raised it high, and brought it down!
*Bang.*
Shu Er, who had been struggling to get up, was hit like a heavy hammer, his head slamming violently into the ground. His teeth, mixed with blood, sprayed everywhere.
“See? Weren’t you wealthy? Does my fist matter any less now?” Chu Yun switched from his fist to his foot.
He stomped down hard, the sound like hitting rotten leather.
Shu Er spat blood, his body instinctively curling up. However, his eyes were fixed on Chu Yun, filled with intense killing intent. He opened his mouth to utter a harsh retort, but Chu Yun raised his foot again and kicked him in the forehead.
*Bang.*
His head made contact with the ground again, the dull thud causing the surrounding crowd to flinch.
“Ah! Ah! Ah! Let go of my son! Chu Yun, I’ll kill you, I’ll kill you!” Madam Shu finally emerged from her shock. Seeing Shu Er’s miserable state, she screamed hysterically.
“I will not let you go, never!” Shu Er’s head was currently under Chu Yun’s foot. The immense humiliation made his eyes red. From birth, he had lived a life of luxury, never suffering such indignity, such a beating!
Humiliation and anger burned within his chest like fire.
He felt like he was about to explode!
“I’m looking forward to it, I’m really looking forward to it,” Chu Yun sneered, his words slow but his actions quickening.
A brutal beating ensued!
Fist and foot rained down like a hail of bullets, mercilessly striking Shu Er.
Shu Er screamed in agony, his body instinctively curling into a ball, his arms wrapped tightly around his head.
“Attack! All of you, attack! Save my son, kill Chu Yun!” Madam Shu was enraged. Her two sons had been the apple of her eye since birth. Witnessing Shu Er’s thrashing and wailing, her heart shattered.
Beside her, four Beast Tamers stirred, about to rush into the arena.
“Presumptuous! This is the Altar, the Coming-of-Age assessment! Anyone who dares to disrupt it will face severe punishment! Exile!” The Altar Beast Tamer’s eyes widened, his aura surging.
“Hmph! Four lackeys of the Ning family, daring to be arrogant on Shu Family Island!” Old Red Spear and the other two elders also stepped forward, their killing intent flaring.
These four Beast Tamers were trusted guards from Madam Shu’s retinue when she married. Even Island Master Shu Tianhao could not command them; they only obeyed Madam Shu.
Since Madam Shu wanted Chu Yun dead, they were compelled to obey.

The four Beast Tamers did not dare. Faced with the choice between their orders and their lives, they wisely chose life.

Chu Yun actually stopped and turned to smile at Madam Shu. His lips were red and his teeth were white, his smile as radiant as the sun.
“Based on your last statement alone, I had decided to stop. Alas, what a pity!” Before he finished speaking, he grabbed Shu Er’s arm, straightened it, and kicked his elbow joint.
With a distinct crack, Shu Er screamed to the heavens, a world-shattering cry of pain.
Heart-wrenching agony.
His left arm had been broken by Chu Yun’s kick. The white bone protruded through the flesh and blood, a gruesome sight.
“Gurg… gurg…” Madam Shu pointed at Chu Yun, trembling violently. She tried to speak, but her throat felt constricted, only allowing her to make bizarre sounds.
“How does that feel?” Chu Yun smiled again.
For a moment, not only Madam Shu but also the surrounding onlookers felt their hearts skip a beat.
Shu Family Island was known for its fierce and courageous disposition, but witnessing Chu Yun’s ruthlessness while he smiled evoked a chill in their hearts. They gained a new understanding of this 13-year-old, seemingly bright young man, and a trace of imperceptible – fear.
Shu Er’s screams suddenly ceased. He had endured pain beyond his limits. His eyes rolled back, and he fainted.
The Altar Beast Tamer immediately proclaimed, “Shu Er has fainted! In this battle, Chu Yun wins! Chu Yun has won two matches, becoming the victor of the second assessment…”
