Section 29: The Tendency to Become a Pretty Boy, the Great Demon Arid Land Bear

Monster Tamers have excellent comprehension, command demonic beasts in battle, help demonic beasts understand cultivation methods, and meticulously nurture them. In turn, the demonic beasts will also feed back Vital Energy, infusing it into the Monster Tamer’s body through mysterious Spirit sensations.
When Chu Yun slept, the warm current he felt was the Vital Energy fed back to Chu Yun by the Sky Fox. This Vital Energy, like spring wind and timely rain, moistened things silently, quietly transforming Chu Yun’s body and improving his physical fitness.
Suddenly remembering something, Chu Yun left the cave and came to the edge of a deep pool as clear as a mirror.
A young man was reflected in the water. He had red lips and white teeth, a clear and handsome face, and eyes like stars. His skin, in particular, was smooth as water, even having a slight luminescence.
“I’ve become a pretty boy,” Chu Yun gave a wry smile. He was originally just a bit handsome. But after being transformed by Vital Energy, his skin became as smooth as jade, and even his original appearance and demeanor were changing.

Any demonic beast would feed back Vital Energy to its master, transforming the master’s physique, appearance, and demeanor, and improving their physical fitness.
However, the transformation wasn’t always towards handsomeness. Some Vital Energy could make an originally dashing master extremely ugly. Some Vital Energy could also change skin color and hair color. Some Vital Energy could make a man of eight feet tall gradually become a shorty. Some Vital Energy could make a small, thin person become a fat pig.
For example, the demonic beast Green Blade Mantis would cause its master’s eye shape to transform into triangular eyes, and their arms would become slender. The demonic beast Drunkard Dog would result in its master’s body hair becoming dense, growing a large beard, and their physique becoming robust.
The higher the grade of the demonic beast, the greater the transformation and improvement to the master. For demonic beasts of Supreme grade, the effectiveness of the fed-back Vital Energy was particularly powerful, even capable of developing some innate abilities.
For instance, Chu Yun’s current Fiery Eyes.
Fiery Eyes were often an innate talent bestowed upon the master by a Supreme grade fire-element demonic beast. As long as one concentrated their gaze, they could perceive the existence of fire Vital Energy with the naked eye.
Although these innate abilities, in terms of power, could not compare to any cultivation method, their auxiliary help was immeasurably great.
With Fiery Eyes, one could perceive the attributes of demonic beasts, the dangers of a place, the enemy’s details, and even mine fire crystal stones buried deep underground because of them.

“Volcano Turtle, magma boulders. Obey my command, three, two, one, full volley!” On Shu Tianhao’s side, the commander shouted loudly.
Under his unified command, a team of Monster Tamers coordinated with each other, commanding their respective Volcano Turtle demonic beasts. Almost simultaneously, they spat out magma boulders the size of woven mats.
BOOM BOOM BOOM…
Instantly, dozens of magma boulders, carrying scorching heat, traced fiery red arcs across the sky, shrouding nearly ten warships of the Crippled Wolf Pirate Gang. (Editor’s note: “栲栳” is a type of woven bamboo basket, suggesting the size of the boulders)
BANG BANG BANG…
Some magma boulders fell into the sea, creating towering water columns. Some boulders landed on warships, exploding, splashing molten lava that corroded the ship hulls and pierced human flesh, causing screams. Some boulders flew past the ship’s sails, and fierce flames immediately ignited the canvas.
“Mystic Frost Fish, frost bombs, fire!”
Almost simultaneously, the Crippled Wolf Pirate Gang’s counterattack arrived. Nearly a hundred snow-white ice bombs rose into the sky, rapidly smashing down towards Shu Tianhao’s side.

“Damn it! How did the Crippled Wolf Pirate Gang suddenly have such fierce firepower?” On the deck, Shu Tianhao stood like a mountain, a stabilizing force for morale. His face was firm and cold, but his heart was already shrouded in a thick shadow.
“The enemy was prepared, they must have a scheme. The Crippled Wolf Pirates have always retreated after one strike. Such a fierce and agonizing sea battle is not their style. There must be a hidden hand behind this…”
Shu Tianhao vaguely sensed a mastermind behind the scenes, but he was powerless. His entire fleet was now in a bitter fight.

The Shu Family Island fleet’s morale surged!
“Amazing, truly amazing! Is this the man known as the Fierce Tiger of Many Stars?” In the Crippled Wolf Pirate Gang’s flagship, a middle-aged man covered in thick white fat, his eyes narrowed into slits, gazed into the distance and exclaimed sincerely.
If anyone knowledgeable were present, they would likely exclaim on the spot: “The shopkeeper of Heavenly Treasure Shop?”
However, in reality, the true identity of this fat man was the Crippled Wolf Pirate Gang’s strategist, Bai Bei, who worked in tandem with the Crippled Wolf leader!
This person was insidious and cunning, full of tricks. He devised plans for the Crippled Wolf, and was greedy by nature.
“Fierce Tiger of Many Stars? Heh heh heh, he’s nothing more than a sick cat without claws or teeth now.” A one-eyed man sat beside Bai Bei.
As he spoke, a cold light that pierced the bone flashed in his single eye.
“Today’s battle is destined to make my Crippled Wolf famous throughout the Archipelago! The Fierce Tiger of Many Stars will also be torn to shreds by my Crippled Wolf’s fangs!”
