The Oracle Immortal’s proposal was agreeable to Chu Yun and the Wine King. Their current strength had formed an absolute advantage, necessitating a change in strategy.
The trio charged forward without encountering any resistance.
The Night Emperor, now in control of the Sky City, likely knew Chu Yun possessed the Ultimate Immortal Pouch and had defeated the Dragon Emperor. Faced with such a treasure, any mechanical or Demonic Creatures would be mere fodder. Thus, he offered no resistance.
“What is this?” As they advanced towards the Sky City’s core, the three suddenly stopped.
The corridor ahead had been completely destroyed.
It had become a ruin spanning a hundred-zhang in diameter, the aftermath of a fierce battle. Amidst the rubble lay the remains of Blade Beasts, Record Bamboo Swords, and other such debris.
Looking up, they saw a massive hole in the previously solid dome, revealing the scene outside the city – a vast, dark expanse.
“No good, the Sky City has flown into the Great Void Space above the heavens!” The Oracle Immortal cried out in alarm upon seeing this.
This was because Outer Heavenly Demons resided in the Great Void Space.
“To reduce a Sky City constructed from Cloud Rock to this state… this must have been a tremendous battle!”
“Did the Night Emperor ambush the Dragon Emperor and they fought again?”
“Not necessarily…”
A flicker of unease crossed the minds of the three. This was likely an attack by an Outer Heavenly Demon!
The Night Emperor was defeated by the Dragon Emperor, who was then defeated by Chu Yun. Chu Yun’s current combat power was arguably the strongest in the world. However, he was not invincible. He had a terrifying and unimaginable enemy – his own Outer Heavenly Demon!
On the Great Star Continent, Chu Yun could go anywhere. But the Great Void Space above the heavens was a perilous territory for him.
“Should we continue the pursuit and finish this decisively? Or abandon it and immediately use the miniature Gem Secret Passage?” the Wine King inquired.
He held a miniature Gem Secret Passage, which could instantly return them to the Archipel.
Chu Yun’s eyes flickered. As he hesitated, a voice called out, “Ahem, you’ve finally arrived.”
From a shadow emerged the Cold Sword King.
His once white robes were now stained a ghastly crimson. A gaping wound on his chest extended from his left shoulder to his abdomen. The wound was exceptionally strange, its surface covered by a layer of ethereal blue ice, within which faint starlight twinkled.
Through the blue ice, Chu Yun and the other two could even see the Cold Sword King’s bones and internal organs.
“Do you see? These are the wounds inflicted by an Outer Heavenly Demon. Once injured by it, a Beast Tamer’s body, soul, and spirit are all damaged simultaneously, resulting in such a wound. There is no method in the entire world that can completely heal such an injury. I was defeated by such an attack back then.”
The Cold Sword King’s face was a ghastly blue, his life force rapidly ebbing away, his foot already in the Ghost Gate Pass. Yet, a smile played on his lips.
In this smile, there was smugness, relief, and a triumphant swagger.
“You eliminated your own Outer Heavenly Demon?” the Oracle Immortal exclaimed, visibly moved.
“Heh heh heh… *cough cough*.” The Cold Sword King threw his head back and laughed, then suddenly doubled over, covering his mouth to cough out large amounts of blue blood.
His expression was filled with excitement and madness.
“After thousands of years of careful planning, heh, from this day forward, I will retake control of Xingzhou. Heaven and Earth will be trampled beneath my feet. Even the Star Saints will be powerless against me! Hahahaha…”
His wild laughter abruptly ceased.
The blue ice rapidly spread, instantly encasing the Cold Sword King’s entire body, turning him into a blue crystal sculpture.
He was dead.
“The key to the Sky City!” the Oracle Immortal whispered, his gaze fixed on the Cold Sword King’s right hand. On his index, middle, and ring fingers, he wore rings that served as keys.
The Sky City was a colossal combined Demon Soldier. Only with the keys could these Demon Soldiers be unified. Even if Chu Yun were to claim the Sky City and become its master, he could not maximize its combat power without the keys.
The Oracle Immortal leaped forward, hurrying to the blue ice sculpture and reaching out to retrieve the two keys.
He had spent a year and a half in arduous exploration within the Sky City for this moment. The moment he had yearned for day and night had finally arrived.
“Wait a moment.” A premonition flashed through Chu Yun’s mind, and he tried to intervene but was a step too late.
The keys were encased in blue ice. The Oracle Immortal’s fingers merely brushed against the ice, and he was immediately speckled with blue ice shards.
The ice shards spread like rapidly growing vines, instantly transforming the Oracle Immortal’s left forearm into translucent blue ice crystals.
“Damn it!” In the face of this drastic change, the Oracle Immortal was horrified. He was a decisive man and immediately drew a Demon Soldier, severing his own right arm.
Blood splattered as the Oracle Immortal retreated rapidly.
While still in the air, his severed right arm turned entirely into blue ice crystals. It shattered upon hitting the ground with a resounding crash.
“This blue ice is surprisingly potent!” the Wine King’s eyes widened in shock.
“We’ve fallen into a trap!” Chu Yun’s heart sank. The Night Emperor was indeed cunning, calculating even at the last moment to ensnare them. If the Oracle Immortal hadn’t been the first to reach for it, Chu Yun would have faced a similarly grim fate.
“Oracle Immortal, how is your injury? Take three Pills.” Chu Yun produced a top-grade healing remedy and tossed it to the Oracle Immortal.
“Alas. I had foreseen that I would suffer the misfortune of losing a limb, but I never expected it to happen here.” The Oracle Immortal sighed sadly, took the Pills, and swallowed three. His injuries immediately stabilized, bleeding stopped, and within a few breaths, blood scabs formed.
Having lost an arm, his cultivation dropped from the peak of Marquis level to the middle stage of Marquis level. Due to the severe blood loss, his face was pale and still held a trace of terror.
“The Night Emperor killed his own Outer Heavenly Demon, but he also sacrificed a King level clone. The Outer Heavenly Demon is truly terrifying, it sends shivers down one’s spine,” the Wine King said, looking at the Cold Sword King’s ice sculpture and the shattered blue ice, his composure faltering.

“Alas, I was truly careless. This blue ice contains dense misfortune, targeting only humans and not having such a powerful effect on demonic creatures,” the Oracle Immortal stated, now using his Spirit Sight to observe. He saw rolling, dark miasma of misfortune surrounding the blue ice.
His Spirit Sight, cultivated through the blessings of his demonic beasts, allowed him to perceive the invisible Luck of Beast Tamers and even deduce the Destiny Demonic Treasures they held.
In the vast Xingzhou, the Oracle Immortal was the only one possessing the Spirit Sight.
“Alas, all three keys are sealed in blue ice, corrupted by the misfortune. They are unusable. We should leave this place,” the Oracle Immortal lamented, shaking his head repeatedly.
This place was not safe. Just as the Wine King was about to take out the miniature Gem Secret Passage, a surge of majestic star radiance swept over the entire Sky City, locking down the space.

The next moment, a meteor descended from the heavens, crashing into the battlefield ruins before the trio.
Amidst the billowing dust, a figure shot out, lunging directly at the Oracle Immortal.
Its speed was incredible, almost instantaneous. It appeared before the Oracle Immortal in the blink of an eye.
A giant claw slashed down, its sharp tips carving five iridescent trails in the air. They struck the Oracle Immortal’s defensive Demon Soldier, instantly erupting in sparks.
The Oracle Immortal roared, retreating rapidly while summoning all his demonic beasts to defend.
The Wine King also attacked simultaneously, his dozen-plus demonic beasts surrounding the colossal blue figure.
Only then did Chu Yun get a clear look at the monstrous entity.
It stood twenty-five zhang tall, humanoid in appearance. It had a pair of curved horns on its head, hoof-like feet, and a long, barbed tail like an iron whip. “Such a powerful Outer Heavenly Demon!” Chu Yun observed from the sidelines, his heart filled with astonishment.
Even under the siege of nearly ten Tribulation Demons, the Outer Heavenly Demon remained as ferocious as a tiger and as agile as a dragon, holding a slight advantage. Its speed was incredible, akin to teleportation. Its scales offered exceptional defense; the Wine King’s Mountain River Epoch Wine Jar only produced sparks upon striking them.
It emanated a star radiance that distorted the surrounding spatial laws, preventing the Wine King’s demonic beasts from forming battle formations and forcing them to fight within the Sky City’s confines.
What shocked Chu Yun the most was the wisdom the Outer Heavenly Demon displayed in battle, which was no less than that of a peak Marquis level expert.
The battle intensified, the Sky City began to crumble piece by piece, and the Oracle Immortal was forced to retreat further and further.

“I’ll take this!” Chu Yun unleashed his Ultimate Immortal Pouch. The moment the meteor collided with the Sky City, he managed to draw it into the pouch.
The Immortal Pouch World erupted into chaos.
It was a massive battle: fifty-five Innate Demonic Creatures attacking an Outer Heavenly Demon the size of the Sky City.
The Wine King’s Outer Heavenly Demon could unleash King level spiritual pressure! Its actual strength was even greater than the Dragon Emperor’s Ten Absolute Dragons formation, perhaps even surpassing it.
Its power was heart-stopping.
If Chu Yun hadn’t fully deployed all ten battle formations of his Ultimate Immortal Pouch, he wouldn’t have been able to withstand the Outer Heavenly Demon’s rampage.

He saw a colossal Ethereal Blue Star, larger than three or four islands combined, appear in his vision. The Sky City was minuscule in comparison, like a mouse next to an elephant.
“My… Outer Heavenly Demon!” A connection sparked in the abyss of his perception, and Chu Yun’s eyes widened.
