“Urgent Mission: Rescue White Emperor!” The eight words were glaringly red.
Chu Yun already knew that the White Emperor was not dead. In fact, Monster Tamers at the Emperor or Extreme Emperor level possessed world-shattering power and could, to a certain extent, overcome death.
Take the Night Emperor, for example. Even though he was killed by the Star Saint using Outer Heavenly Demons, he was able to return from Ghost Continent.
The Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors of Xingzhou history are all alive and well. It’s just that at a certain point, they were all summoned by the Star Saint and signed a factional alliance. Centered around the Nine Saints, Emperor-level powerhouses united, using the Nine Provinces as their stage, constantly competing, maneuvering, and battling behind the scenes. This was the highest secret of their World. Without cultivating to the Emperor level, one could not know this.
Of course, Chu Yun was an exception. He possessed the Ultimate Immortal Pouch, and due to his connection with the Night Emperor, he learned this secret in advance.
“Xingzhou has the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors. The Night Emperor is enemies with the Star Saint, and the Dragon Emperor remains in Xingzhou. The vortex spun faster and faster, expanding continuously, its center stabilizing to form a Starry Sky Road. As long as they were in the same province, Xingzhou Tokens could connect with each other, forming a passage for easy travel.
Without further hesitation, Chu Yun flickered and stepped into the passage. After walking fifty to sixty steps, he reached the end of the road.
Stepping out of the passage, an incomparably grand scene unfolded before him. The infinitely vast Heaven and Earth were divided into two halves. One half was a world with a sky as dark as ink and land as heavy as blood. Countless volcanoes erupted intermittently, spewing thick smoke that rose to the heavens. Rivers of lava crisscrossed the land, radiating intense heat. The other half of the Heaven and Earth was resplendently white. White jade bricks paved the ground, stretching to the horizon. The sky was also a pale white. Between the sky and the earth, dozens of magnificent cities stood tall, each comparable in scale to Sky City.
At this moment, Chu Yun found himself standing atop one of these magnificent cities.
“Hmm? Reinforcements arrived so quickly. Are you a Wushuang King?” A voice reached Chu Yun’s ears.
Chu Yun immediately looked in the direction of the voice and saw the space beside him fluctuate. A white-robed old man with the appearance of an immortal gradually materialized. He was tall and slender, his back as straight as bamboo. He wore a white robe with wide sleeves that nearly brushed the ground. Most striking were his snow-white long hair and a beard that reached his waist. This magnificent beard, with strands like silver threads, cascaded down like a miniature waterfall. In this stark white world, it emitted a faint, snow-jade luster, accentuating the old man’s calm and elegant demeanor, exuding an air of detachment and freedom.
Chu Yun was very familiar with this appearance. It was the same form the Marrow Cleansing Cauldron took when it transformed into a human shape.
“This junior greets senior White Emperor,” he said, cupping his fists in a salute.
“Heh heh heh, no need for such formalities. With the Ultimate Immortal Pouch, you will eventually become an Emperor-level powerhouse. Brother Chu, we can interact as equals.” The White Emperor stroked his beard and chuckled.
Chu Yun was slightly surprised. “Brother White, you know me?”
“How could I not? There are only seven Star Saint tokens in the entire world. The Human Emperor, Book Emperor, and You Huang each have one. The Qin Emperor, Rain Emperor, and myself have three. Originally, the Night Emperor was to have the seventh, but he refused. The one you hold now is the seventh. The Dragon Emperor will possess the eighth in the future. It’s unprecedented in Xingzhou for someone at your King level, late stage, to be awarded a token. It’s also a rare occurrence within the Nine Provinces. Although we are often away, we do keep an eye on Xingzhou’s movements,” the White Emperor explained.
Chu Yun nodded. “So that’s how it is.”
The White Emperor shifted his tone. “Enough idle talk. I ventured deep into Bingzhou and was discovered by the Iron Emperor, who pursued me all the way here to Danzhou. Although I don’t fear him, the Iron Emperor and the Azure Emperor are husband and wife, and she will surely come to his aid. I need you to defend the rear for me for three months. Once I gain the upper hand, they will naturally retreat.” The White Emperor stated the situation concisely. The Iron Emperor and the Azure Emperor were both Emperor-level powerhouses from Bingzhou. Currently, the Iron Emperor was engaging the White Emperor, while the Azure Emperor was en route.
“Brother Chu, you have fought with the Dragon Emperor and the Night Yan King. However, they did not possess Ultimate Immortal Pouches. Observe, and I will explain a thing or two to you.” As he spoke, the White Emperor waved his large sleeve, and a grand mirror appeared before Chu Yun. The scene in the mirror was a battlefield millions of miles away. Countless Demonic creatures were engaged in combat.
The white side belonged to the White Emperor’s Demonic creatures. Tens of thousands of Flying Battleships flew in formations, while Whirlwind Wheels rolled by in rows, crushing the battlefield. Saber Beasts roared and charged, and Du Lu Bamboo Swords shot out with whistling sounds, piercing every corner of the battlefield. The black side consisted of the Iron Emperor’s Demon Soldiers. Black Iron Flying Doves covered the sky like a dark cloud, battling the Flying Battleships in the air. On the ground, tens of thousands of Scarlet Flame Chariots stood their ground against the Whirlwind Wheels. Cauldron Thunder Hammers hovered densely in the air, continuously unleashing lightning nets. Additionally, there were chain-linked mechanisms that slithered like snakes, constantly attacking.
The moment Chu Yun looked, his mind was captivated. The scene was so vast and magnificent that it left him breathless. Despite having experienced countless battles, Chu Yun had never witnessed such a spectacular display of combat. To be more precise, such a colossal war had never occurred in the history of Xingzhou.

A fourth mirror materialized out of thin air, showing a troop of Scarlet Flame Chariots, about four hundred in number, stealthily advancing into White Emperor’s territory. “This is a sneak attack by the Iron Emperor, attempting to bypass my Whirlwind Wheel formations and raid my Saber Beast legions. Such actions, if successful once or twice, are nothing. But if they happen frequently, they accumulate and can influence the overall battle. Therefore, it requires the complete concentration of both combatants.” While speaking, the White Emperor simultaneously mobilized a Whirlwind Wheel legion of five hundred chariots from each of the two battlefields. A total of one thousand Whirlwind Wheels encircled and annihilated the Iron Emperor’s raiding party, completely crushing them. Afterward, the White Emperor waved his hand, and the remaining nearly eight hundred Whirlwind Wheels immediately charged forward. They were met by an Iron Emperor legion that had been dispatched to intercept them, their offensive thus neutralized.
“Scenarios like this occur countless times. As the battle intensifies, even the Spirit of Emperor-level powerhouses is severely depleted. A drop in concentration leads to an increase in mistakes. Emperor-level powerhouses have their limits,” the White Emperor sighed. “This is why I need you to help me defend against the Azure Emperor. Chu Yun nodded, his eyes gleaming with a strange light as he intently watched the four mirrors. Witnessing this, he was convinced that his trip was not in vain; it had truly opened his eyes wide. True Emperor-level combat had long since surpassed commanding a mere dozen or so Demonic creatures. It had ascended to a super-large-scale clash between two Worlds. It was a direct test of each side’s foundation. The Immortal Pouch World with a stronger foundation and greater prosperity would have a greater chance of victory. Such Emperor-level confrontations not only tested the Great Emperor’s grasp and command of the battlefield but also validated the Emperor-level powerhouse’s daily efforts in building their Immortal Pouch World.
How could one effectively build an Immortal Pouch World? This involved related fields such as Pill Refining, Weapon Forging, cultivation, sealing, pouch crafting, and cultivation arts.
Suddenly, Chu Yun understood. When a Monster Tamer reached the Emperor level, combat and production merged into one, unifying countless paths. All currents led to the same source, encompassing all aspects – this was the realm of an Emperor-level Monster Tamer.
“White Emperor, you have repeatedly violated my Bingzhou. This time, let’s see where you run!” a female voice suddenly rang out. Behind White Emperor’s World, the Sea of Chaos began to churn violently. This was the Azure Emperor’s Immortal Pouch World rapidly approaching.
“The Azure Emperor is here. Brother Chu, please lend me your strength and hold the line for three months. During this period, do not personally engage on the battlefield; the danger is too great, remember this!” A hint of anxiety flashed in the White Emperor’s eyes as he urged him.
“Brother White, rest assured.” Chu Yun nodded, a glint of eagerness in his eyes. After obtaining the Ultimate Immortal Pouch, battles between Monster Tamers had reached a new level. Chu Yun had never experienced combat against a Monster Tamer who possessed an Ultimate Immortal Pouch. In essence, this would be his first battle.
