Utilizing World Power, Chu Yun could forge weapons, refine pills, craft pouches, and perform divination and fortune-telling. All professions, such as Weapon Forger, Alchemist, Pouch Crafter, and Abacus Master, and all paths, were unified and condensed at the Emperor level.
Like ten thousand rivers flowing into the sea.
The Great Dao is simple.
Washing away all the glitter, all prosperity and decline have turned into simple truth.
Even increasing the cultivation of demonic creatures only required Chu Yun to use World Power; a simple word could achieve it. The Extreme Dao Great Pusher was no longer needed.
Having World Power was equivalent to possessing any Battle Skill. As long as World Power was sufficient, the will of an Emperor was the sole authority of the universe!
But the problem was, World Power was too quickly depleted.
The World Power Chu Yun had accumulated was almost gone. Half was used to refine the Nine Virtues Wheel, and the other half was used to forge the Star Ghost Spirit Ring.
This almost used it all up.
Fortunately, he had three hundred thousand fanatical believers. The power of faith was constantly being generated, combining with World Power to form World Power.
This recovery rate was approximately equivalent to that of a mid-stage Emperor level.
Chu Yun was currently only at the early stage of Emperor level, but he possessed the recovery power of a mid-stage Emperor level. This was also a manifestation of the power of the Immeasurable Dao.
Gazing at the Star Ghost Spirit Ring in his hand, Chu Yun took a deep breath and softly uttered, “Divide!”
Instantly, a fierce light erupted from his eyes, and an extremely intense pain engulfed his nerves.
His vision turned black, and he almost fainted on the spot. Fortunately, the Innate Dao Body was miraculous, possessing abundant life force that barely pulled him back from the brink of collapse.
Even so, his whole body was drenched in cold sweat. Enduring the intense pain, Chu Yun used World Power to separate a small portion of his soul from his body.
This was the soul of his left arm, transparent like seawater, emitting a faint blue glow.
As this portion of his soul completely detached from his body, Chu Yun’s left arm instantly lost all sensation, slumping as if its bones had been removed.
The pain greatly diminished, and an indescribable emptiness, regret, and intense weakness enveloped Chu Yun’s heart, making him realize he had just lost something extremely precious.
Chu Yun gritted his teeth and sent this portion of his soul into the Star Ghost Spirit Ring.
The face of the Star Ghost Spirit Ring immediately displayed a ferocious and terrifying skull ghost face. It opened its mouth wide and completely swallowed the soul of Chu Yun’s arm.
*Cackle cackle cackle*, the skull ghost face smacked its lips as if it hadn’t had enough, emitting a twisted and crazy laugh.
It then faintly dissipated, and the Star Ghost Spirit Ring returned to its original ancient appearance, motionless.
An inexpressible and mysterious connection was established between Chu Yun and the Star Ghost Spirit Ring.
It was as if he was using two minds as one, or as if two people were telepathically connected, sharing their perceptions and cognitions of their surroundings.
“It’s done,” a relieved smile appeared on Chu Yun’s pale face.
“Go,” he suddenly raised his hand, and the Star Ghost Spirit Ring erupted with a dark, luminous glow.
With a whoosh, it tore through space and shot away like light.
Chu Yun slowly closed his eyes, still as a statue, silently communicating with the Star Ghost Spirit Ring.
The Star Ghost Spirit Ring was relaying the situation on the other side to him, word for word.
The ring was penetrating the void.
In a black and white world, countless spatial fragments were visible everywhere. Occasional spatial storms were incredibly powerful.
Chu Yun’s arm soul had condensed into a ball within the ring, currently doing its best to control the ring and avoid these dangers.
After traversing for about three days and three nights, the Star Ghost Spirit Ring finally reached the domain of Ghost Continent.
A magnificent giant gate, like a mountain, stood before the ring.
It towered into the clouds. The gateposts were made of enormous skeletal spines, chillingly white. The gate itself resembled freshly peeled muscle, bloody and gruesome, constantly trembling in the black mist. Countless drops of blood condensed from drips to streams, flowing down.
Finally, at the threshold, five feet high, it formed a vast waterfall of blood, roaring and cascading down, exuding a brutal, fierce, and malicious aura.
The ring hung silently before this giant gate. Chu Yun suppressed his astonishment and secretly observed, “Is this the legendary Ghost Gate Pass? Truly grand and not to be underestimated.”
During his observation, streams of souls continuously drifted towards the Ghost Gate Pass.
The Nine Provinces were in chaos, with Innate Divine Demons wreaking havoc. People died every moment. Therefore, souls drifted, and the flow was constant.
The bloody muscles on the Ghost Gate trembled, contorting into countless human faces that let out wails and shrieks. Most of these souls were scattered by the ghostly cries as they approached the Ghost Gate Pass, forming wisps of soul energy which were then absorbed by the fleshy faces on the gate.
Only less than one-tenth of the souls appeared very condensed, likely due to their high cultivation in life. They successfully passed through the Ghost Gate.
Chu Yun watched for a moment, then began to hesitate.
The Nine Provinces were all different. Xingzhou was the youngest, full of mystery and a youthful vigor, like a new star in the night sky. Danzhou, on the other hand, was the most vibrant and prosperous, like a field of blooming flowers, graceful and noble.
Ghost Continent was the most gloomy, like a ghostly fire above a grave in the dead of night, peculiar and unique.
Other continents allowed Monster Tamers to enter and exit freely, but Ghost Continent only accepted souls. If a Monster Tamer arrived in their entirety, their flesh and blood would first be absorbed by this Ghost Gate, a fate even Emperor-level experts could not avoid.
For this was the law of Ghost Continent.
To force entry would require suppressing the power of the entire Ghost Continent, which would at least require Saint-level strength.
Chu Yun was currently only at the early stage of Emperor level, so he naturally couldn’t. He could only follow the laws of Ghost Continent and send a portion of his soul to sneak in.
However, merely arriving as a soul would immediately trigger the detection of Ghost Continent’s Net of Law. If exposed, the consequences would be unimaginable. Not to mention others, the Night Emperor of Ghost Continent alone harbored an intense hatred for Chu Yun and would absolutely seize the opportunity to deal with him.
Therefore, Chu Yun had specifically forged the Star Ghost Spirit Ring, a unique demonic weapon, to serve as cover.
Of course, this rule of Ghost Continent only applied to humans and not to demonic creatures. Any demonic creature from the Nine Continents could freely enter and exit.
“Ghost Continent was created by Ghost Saint. It is said that he personally forged this demonic weapon, the Ghost Gate Pass, as the first gate to defend Ghost Continent.”
Chu Yun sensed something was amiss. Upon ascending to Emperor level and gaining World Power, all professions had been unified, and he had also become like an Abacus Master.
If he were at Emperor level, he would only be able to perceive the vast and mighty demonic energy of the Ghost Gate Pass and its imposing grandeur. But now that he was an Emperor, he could perceive more. After careful investigation, he knew that this demonic weapon before him had a cultivation of more than six hundred billion years. This was twice the cultivation of the Silver Winged Divine Demon King of Danzhou!
This was because the Ghost Gate Pass was extraordinary. Refined with the ingenious craftsmanship of Ghost Saint, it could devour souls to increase its own cultivation.
Ordinary demonic creatures could only absorb Vital Energy or demonic weapons. However, the Ghost Gate Pass, through accumulation over countless years, had achieved such terrifying cultivation.
“My Star Ghost Spirit Ring only has a cultivation of seven billion seven hundred million years, which is far too different from the Ghost Gate Pass. If I tried to force my way in, I fear it would be detected. However, I calculated with World Power this time and found an opportunity to infiltrate Ghost Continent. This opportunity has not yet arrived, so I might as well wait patiently.”
With this thought, Chu Yun restrained his soul fluctuations and hid in a dark corner, watching countless souls form a long stream, constantly rushing towards the Ghost Gate Pass. They were truly like moths to a flame, endless.
He waited for three to four days.
Finally, the opportunity arrived. Space violently vibrated, and a group of uninvited guests arrived at the Ghost Gate Pass with great momentum.
Who dared to attack the gateway of Ghost Continent, the Ghost Gate Pass?
There was only one faction: the Innate Divine Demons.
Chu Yun’s soul remained motionless, observing quietly from the depths of the darkness.
These Innate Divine Demons attacking Ghost Continent were somewhat different from those in Danzhou and Xingzhou.
The Innate Divine Demons of Danzhou all had silver wings, some with one pair, others with up to three pairs. They were incredibly fast and were known as Silver Winged Divine Demons.
The Innate Divine Demons of Xingzhou were extremely cunning, with a crescent moon mark on their foreheads. They were best at attacking weak points, and their attacks were exceptionally sharp; they were known as Crescent Moon Divine Demons.
As for the Innate Divine Demons of Ghost Continent, their bodies were semi-transparent, similar to human bodies, but they had bronze-gold scales and green faces with fangs.
Their most distinctive feature was a layer of pale flame burning all over their bodies.
Around the Innate Divine Demons, any soul unfortunate enough to touch this flame, even for a moment, would instantly ignite into a white fireball, eventually turning into nothingness amidst horrifying screams.
These were the Azure Flame Divine Demons!
One Azure Flame Divine Demon after another emerged from the void, and their numbers quickly grew. Three hundred, eight hundred, fifteen hundred… When there were about eight thousand, the Azure Flame Divine Demons grew impatient. They suddenly opened their mouths wide, revealing rows of sharp teeth, letting out silent roars.
Instantly, the pale flames exploded into towering infernos.
The flames blazed fiercely, filled with a mad and chillingly eerie aura.
They charged towards the Ghost Gate Pass in unison. Nearly ten thousand Innate Divine Demons, each engulfed in flames. The Azure Flames linked together, forming a chilling sea of fire. With immense and peerless momentum, they swept towards the Ghost Gate Pass.
All souls in their path were consumed, becoming fuel for the Azure Flames. The sea of fire, fed by them, actually doubled in size!
The sea of fire fiercely collided with the Ghost Gate Pass, forged from white bones and flesh.
*Boom!*
Chu Yun seemed to hear a violent roar, but in reality, the clash between the two sides emitted no sound.
Everything was so eerie that it sent chills down one’s spine.
It was like a silent film, with dark blacks, bloody reds, and bone-whites interwoven into a bizarre and beautiful picture.
On the Ghost Gate, the blood-red faces let out frenzied howls. But beneath the Azure Flames, no sound could be heard.
Innate Divine Demons collided fiercely with the Ghost Gate.
The flesh-and-blood Ghost Gate contorted horrifyingly, as if human muscles were being pierced, opening deep gashes.
Blood flowed profusely.
The Azure Flame Divine Demons brandished their claws, tearing fiercely, trying to pierce through the entire gate. The Ghost Gate convulsed violently, muscle generating continuously, blood mist steaming, closing the wounds and strangling the Azure Flame Divine Demons within its fleshly cage.
The suicidal charge lasted for a full three hours. Nearly a hundred thousand Azure Flame Divine Demons died beneath the Ghost Gate. However, under the relentless assault, the Ghost Gate Pass was finally breached. One Azure Flame Divine Demon narrowly slipped through, reaching the other side of the gate.
“Now!” Chu Yun, who had been waiting for this moment, suddenly activated the Star Ghost Spirit Ring. In a fraction of a second, the ring, like a subtle lightning bolt, broke through the Ghost Gate Pass along with dozens of Azure Flame Divine Demons.
*Whoosh whoosh whoosh!*
A surge rolled in, and waves of water crashed.
A vast river immediately appeared within Chu Yun’s soul perception.
