Section 53: Chaos Supreme

As Chu Yun’s words fell, a boundless holy light completely engulfed the Ancient Saint, dissipating him into nothingness.
When the dazzling radiance faded, only three ownerless, stationary Saint Artifacts remained in the distance: a shattered Immortal Pouch World, and the Chaos Pearls refined from the destroyed Danzhou and Hezhou.
With a rush, the Chaos Sea currents flowed back from the edge of the battlefield, rapidly filling the vast voids created by the combat.
Chu Yun’s heart was filled with immense peace. He knew that everything was finally over.
He exhaled a deep breath, and an incomparably intense feeling of fatigue and weakness washed over him.
For years, he had strived relentlessly, daring not to slacken even for a moment. Often, it was a matter of a single thread. One misstep would have affected the entire situation.
Fortunately, the outcome was satisfactory. Amidst immense hardship, he had desperately carved out that sliver of survival.
“Next, I need a good rest.” Chu Yun subdued all the Saint Artifacts and integrated Guzhou into Lingzhou, then fell into a deep slumber within the Yin Yang Grand Harem.
He slept for three thousand years.
When he awoke, he found himself at the peak of the Saint level.
This was due to the constant nourishment of holy energy from the eight great Saint Artifacts, day and night. He had also completely mastered the sacred texts within them.
However, the newly formed Lingzhou was in a dire state. Ghosts and humans coexisted under the same sky, demonic creatures ran rampant, and they constantly clashed with each other. The human world was in a state of chaos, with extremely scattered beliefs. Hundreds, even thousands, of Emperor-level powerhouses ruled their own territories, becoming a source of threat.
“We are ashamed and have failed your expectations,” the consorts in the Yin Yang Grand Harem said, their surprise at Chu Yun’s awakening mingled with deep guilt.
“It’s not your fault. Your power was mainly used to defend the Grand Harem and protect me all these years. You did the right thing. Hmph, during this time, many Emperors actually attempted to attack my palace, their ambitions were so wicked when I was asleep…”
“The believers in the entire Lingzhou who worship me have become so scarce, instead providing faith power to those rebels. This is a sin. Since that’s the case, it’s time for me to take that crucial step.” Chu Yun said in a low voice.
As his words ended, the entire Lingzhou began to tremble. The Net of Law was recalled, and the demon beasts at the core of the formations transformed into streams of light, flying towards the Yin Yang Grand Harem.
The Chaos Sea currents instantly surged back, and the Emperors frantically fled, only to be frozen in place by an invisible force.
Only a very small number of individuals were summoned back to the Yin Yang Grand Harem by Chu Yun.
The entire Lingzhou was being refined, from all living beings to the mountains and the very land.
Chu Yun even discarded all eight Saint Artifacts in his hand, leaving Lingzhou behind. He then ascended to the highest seat, the Yin Yang Grand Harem carrying humans and demons, rising together and breaking away from Lingzhou.
“This is the end of the world!” an Emperor cried out in terror.
“It’s all over!! All our ambitions have turned to dust…” another lamented in despair.
“Look! The Yin Yang Grand Harem is flying away!” someone noticed the anomaly.
“I understand now. This is the work of a Saint. Chu Yun is too ruthless, not even sparing the entire Lingzhou.” You Huang, Long Huang, and others looked on with utter despair.
“I repent, I repent. Great Saint, please show mercy and forgive my unintentional offense…” Many Emperors knelt down, but it was too late.
“The entire Lingzhou has been refined and condensed into Chaos Pearls,” the consorts in the Yin Yang Grand Harem exclaimed, their hearts trembling.
“My son, what are you doing…?” Chu Yun’s birth mother, the former Moon Frost King and now Moon Emperor, was heartbroken at the sight of all living beings perishing.
“It’s nothing,” Chu Yun said, seated calmly, waving his sleeve to signal everyone to sit.
He began to lecture, saying, “The cultivation of a Beast Tamer lies in condensing the Great Dao. A King-level Beast Tamer can create their own strand of Dao. After that, Emperor-level and Royal-level cultivators begin to collect Laws. At the Saint level, it becomes even more formidable, possessing a grand Net of Law.
“But these Laws, whether it be the Star Saint’s divination Dao, the Dan Saint’s heaven-seizing and essence-condensing Dao, the Yin Yang Great Dao, or my own Human Dao, all have limitations. They can only be deployed within the Immortal Pouch World and cannot affect the Chaos Sea. This is because the Immortal Pouch World is a place of order, where Laws are chains of order. Within the Immortal Pouch World, people act according to order and law.
“However, in the entire Chaos Sea, there is a force that can counter order, and that is chaos. From chaos, countless Innate Divine Demons are born. It is opposite to order, like two poles, two sides. As Beast Tamers continuously cultivate and reach the Saint level, they gain the power of order. When this power reaches an extreme, it becomes a shackle. To advance further, one must master the power of chaos.
“However, the power of chaos is difficult to control. A deep accumulation of the power of order is required, otherwise, attempting to control it forcibly will lead to erosion by chaos. The Soldier Saint’s transformation into an Innate Holy Demon is the best example. The Ancient Saint understood this, which is why he sought to seize the accumulations of the Nine Saints. Unfortunately, he ultimately failed, and I emerged victorious.”
As he spoke, the vast Lingzhou had been refined, forming a rather large Chaos Pearl.
This pearl was pitch black, yet within it flickered faint lights, and sacred script continuously appeared.
The Saint Artifacts were also refined, and the Great Daos of the former Saints merged together.
Seeing this, Chu Yun smiled silently and said in a clear, calm voice, “Everyone, watch as I, on this very day, achieve Chaos Supreme.”
He then threw out the Chaos Pearls of Hezhou and Danzhou, obtained from killing the Ancient Saint, and with a flick of his index finger, unleashed Immeasurable Dao.
Now that he had become a Saint, Immeasurable Dao was no longer a simple beam of white light, but a stream of platinum holy script.
This was Chu Yun’s unique script, recording his Great Dao.
He then opened his mouth and spat out a pile of star script, the Star Saint’s Great Dao obtained from the Star Sea Bowl.
The Chaos Pearls merged together, forming a perfectly round divine pearl.
Within the divine pearl, colors flickered, each color representing a type of holy script. The blue holy script came from the Star Saint, the platinum holy script was Chu Yun’s Human Dao, the treasure-orange holy script was the Dan Saint’s Dao of Alchemy, and there was also the Ghost Saint’s Ghost Dao, the Barbarian Saint’s Savage Dao, the Middle Saint’s Proper Dao, the Peace Saint’s Peace Dao, the Soldier Saint’s War Dao, the Wheel Saint’s Karmic Dao, and the Empress Saint’s Love Dao.
These scripts intermingled and collided, yet did not fuse.
It was like vigorously shaking a jar of oil and water; the oil and water mixed together, but the oil remained oil, and the water remained water. When they settled, the oil would re-coalesce and float on the water. The oil and water remained distinct.
This distinction, at its core, was order.
Order maintained the status quo, while chaos brought destruction, but precisely because of this, old conventions could be broken and new things created.
At this point, it was critical.
Chu Yun took a deep breath, carefully cradled this Chaos Pearl, and held it high.
The Chaos Pearl immediately generated a pull, drawing a group of chaotic true script from the surrounding Chaos Sea.
These scripts were different from the holy scripts; they were like garbled code, utterly black and constantly shifting without any pattern.
Chu Yun moved the chaotic true script in one by one, his gaze fixed intently on the Chaos Pearl.
Upon contact with the holy script, the chaotic true script immediately caused violent changes. True integration began to occur between the different holy scripts, and the previously chaotic holy light gradually purified into a single color.
There were no years in the Chaos Sea, and it was unknown how long had passed. When Chu Yun moved in the last piece of chaotic true script from the outside, the Chaos Pearl trembled violently. The holy script within it finally combined and merged, forming a brand new dark purple rune.
This rune was neither an ordered holy script nor a chaotic true script.
In the Yin Yang Grand Harem, no one understood. Only Chu Yun knew its meaning.
This was the Supreme Rune.
Chu Yun opened his mouth and inhaled it, swallowing the Supreme Rune. Instantly, an indescribable noble aura emanated from his entire body.
This aura completely surpassed the Great Dao, for the Great Dao was merely order. This aura, however, not only contained order but also encompassed chaos.
Chu Yun roared to the heavens, dispersing the excess chaotic true script. From this moment, he transcended the Saint level, taking the step the Ancient Saint most desired, and achieved Chaos Supreme!
Amidst his roar, the Chaos Pearl exploded violently.
A new World was formed in an instant.
It was no longer a single world like a Continent, but divided into three layers.
The bottom layer was the Underworld, suitable only for ghosts. The middle layer was the Human Realm, from which countless life forms evolved. The highest layer was the Heavens, with various immortal islands and palaces floating freely, and the Vital Energy being the most abundant, already liquefied into thick clouds.
“How incredibly powerful! Such unimaginable divine ability, creating a new World in an instant!”
“All these living beings are entirely new species, with abundant resources, far exceeding Lingzhou by a hundredfold. The area of the three realms combined is larger than a hundred Lingzhous stacked together.”
“Look at the Net of Law, it’s different too. Lingzhou’s Net of Law could only cover the sky, but this World’s Net of Law forms a sphere, enveloping the entire World. Moreover, the Net of Law is dense, forming a grid. Between the grid cells, purple crystalline walls form, constantly absorbing and converting the external Chaos Sea currents.”
In the Yin Yang Grand Harem, everyone watched with widened eyes, completely shocked.
Especially upon seeing the new Net of Law, many felt their bodies tremble, gaining crucial insights.
The Nine Provinces could not absorb Chaos Sea currents in this manner; at most, they could digest Chaos Demonic Crystals.
For the new World to possess such a means, it was most likely due to the absorption of those chaotic true script.
“You all feel it too? Indeed, fifty makes perfection, four nine I derive, and one escapes. This one is the variable that arises from chaos. But it is precisely because of this variable that this World will evolve. All living beings will become stronger and stronger, and the weak will be eliminated into the river of history,” Chu Yun instructed them.
If the previous Nine Continents were like nine large lakes, abundant in water but stagnant, then the current Lingzhou was an ocean, constantly drawing nourishment from the external Chaos Sea, thus becoming living water.
The growth of the Ultimate Immortal Pouch lies in two aspects: first, the master plunders external resources and replenishes them; second, it circulates its own resources and generates them continuously.
However, the current Lingzhou could independently absorb nutrients from the Chaos Sea with extremely high efficiency, equivalent to continuously digesting Chaos Demonic King Crystals.
