“Alright, I have something to say.” Chu Yun once again sat at the main seat of the Yin Yang Grand Harem.
Though this Grand Harem was called a minor Saint Artifact, it was ultimately a post-natal creation. Now, tainted by the supreme aura emanating from Chu Yun, it underwent a qualitative change, instantly truly ascending to the level of a Saint Artifact.
The cultivation of the consorts all surged drastically, creating countless Emperors in an instant.
Exclamations of astonishment echoed as the difficulty of advancing to become an Emperor was well-known. Yet, with just a trace of Chu Yun’s aura, such a result was achieved, demonstrating that Chu Yun’s current power far surpassed that of a Saint, truly undergoing a qualitative transformation and sublimation to reach a supreme realm that no one could fathom.
Chu Yun swept his gaze across the hall serenely, and silence immediately fell. Countless pairs of eyes focused on him, awaiting his guidance.
Chu Yun then declared, “The newly born World will still be called Spirit State. However, it will be divided into three realms, and from this point forward, humans and ghosts will walk separate paths. This way, the chaotic situation of humans, demons, and ghosts clashing that occurred in the previous Spirit State will never happen again.”
“Supreme wisdom!”
“This is a blessing for all living beings.”
The Emperors in the hall couldn’t help but praise Chu Yun’s words.
Chu Yun continued, “Monster Tamers will still follow the traditional standards for ranking strength, namely: Outstanding, Remarkable, Unique, Hegemon, Lord, Marquis, King, Emperor, and Emperor. However, in the Human Realm, there can only be high-level King level.”
“Once a Monster Tamer reaches the peak of King level and comprehends their own Dao, they must contribute it to the Net of Law. They will then be ascended to the Celestial Realm, bestowed with an Immortal Island Palace, and granted administrative authority to participate in world governance.”
The Emperors nodded, understanding the deeper meaning behind Chu Yun’s actions. Monster Tamers reaching the peak of King level had already attained individual strength comparable to that of a nation and had begun to touch upon the deeper aspects of order. Therefore, for the stability of the Human Realm and to cultivate high-level combat strength for the world, ascending them to the Celestial Realm was an excellent policy.
Next was the crucial point. Chu Yun added, “When Monster Tamers reach Emperor level, they will be permitted to spread teachings. However, regardless of the sect, they must first pay homage to this Venerable One, then to the Saints, and finally to the Emperor.”
The Emperors’ hearts trembled. The wisdom of the Supreme One was truly penetrating and boundless. This rule, though simple and consisting of only a few sentences, fundamentally stifled the crisis of chaotic beliefs and completely stabilized the power structure at the highest levels.
When any Emperor preached, by first paying homage to this Venerable One, then to the Saints, and only then to the Emperor themselves, a large portion of the faith’s power would be drawn out and offered to the higher echelons. Chu Yun’s position would remain unshakable for all eternity, unlike the situation in the former Nine Provinces.
“Finally, there will only be ten Saint positions.” Any more would be impossible. At this time, the Spirit State could only accommodate one Supreme One and ten Saints.
Having said this, Chu Yun turned his gaze towards his father, the Old Dan King. Or perhaps, it was more accurate to call him Emperor, for since his resurrection in the Wine Pool Meat Forest, the Old Dan King’s cultivation had already surged to the Emperor level.
Chu Yun smiled and said, “Father, you may be the first Saint, honored as the Father Saint, and you shall govern the eastern part of the Celestial Realm.”
As his words fell, they became reality. A beam of purple light descended, striking the Old Dan King directly. The Old Dan King’s aura immediately surged, advancing from Emperor level to the early stage of Saint level.
Witnessing this, those in the hall felt an even greater reverence for Chu Yun’s power. They offered their congratulations in unison: “Congratulations to the Father Saint.”
Next, Chu Yun addressed his mother, the Moon Frost King: “Mother, you may be the Mother Saint and govern the western part of the Celestial Realm.”
To his adopted father, Shu Tianhao: “Adopted Father, you are the third Saint, the Righteous Saint, and you shall govern the northern part of the Celestial Realm.”
To Jin Bihan: “Bihan, you shall be the fourth Saint, the Harem Saint, and you shall govern the central Yin Yang Grand Harem of the Celestial Realm.”
He then addressed the Night Emperor: “You are the fifth Saint, the Night Saint, and you shall govern the southern part of the Celestial Realm.”
To Emperor Ming: “You are the sixth Saint, the Underworld Saint, and you will be responsible for the important affairs of the Underworld.”
“The rest, Huang Xiao, Yan Que, Hua Ying, Wan’er, Wine Emperor, and Straight Emperor, may all become Saints. Who ultimately becomes a Saint will depend on your own efforts.”
“Yes, Supreme One…” Some in the hall rejoiced, while others felt disappointment, but no one dared to question Chu Yun’s decisions or harbor any thoughts of unfairness.
Chu Yun’s words had laid the foundation for the high-level structure of the Spirit State. It was truly a case of “one man achieves the Dao, his poultry and dogs ascend to heaven.” Many only regretted not having followed him sooner.
And this was not the end. Chu Yun then spoke gently to the resurrected Old Red Spear, Old Fish King, and Old Monkey: “Three Old Generals, you shall all be Emperors, with transcendent status. You are granted three Imperial Palaces and Immortal Islands to reside in.”
“Ning Yiyi, Bai Mian, Wu Datou, Wang Zelong, Yan Ji Si, Feng Bole, and Oracle Immortal are bestowed Emperor status, with distinguished positions, and are rewarded with Imperial Palaces and Immortal Islands to reside in.”
Chu Yun’s words were accompanied by blessings and power. As soon as he finished speaking, the mentioned individuals all advanced to their corresponding cultivation realms.
“Your subordinates thank the Supreme One for your immense grace!” Many were so moved they were unable to control themselves, tears streaming down their faces. Even onlookers remarked, “Chu Yun is truly a sentimental person. Seeing these rewards, one can tell he is benevolent and kind-hearted.”
Chu Yun then looked at his two disciples, Pan Shi and Xiao Yan. To his surprise, the two youngsters exchanged a glance and knelt down together, kowtowing. “Master, we both wish to cultivate through our own strength.”
Chu Yun nodded, a look of admiration on his face, and clapped his hands, laughing heartily, “Excellent! You are truly my good disciples. However, words are not enough. I will give you sixty years, and we shall see what great achievements you both make by then.”
Thus, all beings in the Spirit State achieved peace and prosperity. Under the management of the Kings and Emperors, the World continued to grow.
Sixty years passed in the blink of an eye.
On this day, Chu Yun summoned his two disciples to examine their cultivation. Neither of them disappointed him.
Xiao Yan had already been promoted to Emperor. She displayed her Immortal Pouch World to Chu Yun: “Master, please look. I call this World Paradise, symbolizing light, with the slogan of repentance and atonement, manifesting miracles and developing believers. I have also taken a liking to a type of Demonic creature in the Human Realm with bird wings and a human body, and have subdued many of them for my use, calling them angels.”
“Very good, very good,” Chu Yun nodded. He suddenly noticed a colossal ship at the center of the Net of Law within this Immortal Pouch World. He pointed to it and asked, “This ship is interesting, almost a minor Saint Artifact, infused with a dense power of faith. What is it?”
Xiao Yan blushed slightly: “This is a troop of Demon Soldiers that I, your disciple, have replicated after the Yin Yang Grand Harem, calling it Noah’s Ark. Every so often, I will activate the Net of Law to send down heavenly tribulations and floods to cleanse the entire Immortal Pouch World. Before that, I will use Noah’s Ark to collect species, one male and one female of each, to serve as the seeds of life.”
Chu Yun patted Xiao Yan’s head: “This move is creative. Although it results in some loss of development progress, it allows for the tempering of faith.”
He then turned to Pan Shi: “My eldest disciple, what insights have you gained?” Pan Shi was much more low-key and humble than Xiao Yan. Upon hearing Chu Yun’s question, he immediately bowed respectfully, “Before my Master, I dare not speak carelessly. This is my disciple’s Immortal Pouch World, please take a look, Master.”
Upon opening it, Xiao Yan couldn’t help but gasp in surprise. Pan Shi’s Immortal Pouch World had developed exceptionally well, four times larger than hers, and divided into four sections.
Pan Shi explained, “I was also inspired by the Spirit State and divided my Immortal Pouch World into four parallel spaces. I named them Dong Sheng Shen Zhou, Nan Zhan Bu Zhou, Bei Ju Lu Zhou, and Xi Niu He Zhou [Four Continents from Journey to the West]. Within them, I spread my teachings in different guises, creating the Buddhist, Daoist, Confucian, Witchcraft, Demonic, and Jie Sects, all in order to research a method that is the best and most suitable for collecting faith.”
He then pointed to a spot: “This is the Son of Destiny for this epoch. I have used the Nine Virtues Wheel to specifically change his luck. His codename is Golden Cicada. He is a monk, a key figure for the future great prosperity of Buddhism.”
“He will depart from Dong Sheng Shen Zhou and travel to Nan Zhan Bu Zhou to obtain scriptures. For this purpose, I have already arranged for him four Supreme grade Demonic Beasts: a Spiritual-Minded Stone Monkey, a Heavenly Marsh Pig, a Sand River Catfish, and a Dragon Horse.”
“Hmm, an excellent research!” Chu Yun did not hold back his praise. This was Pan Shi’s unconventional approach, and his research results were of great help in collecting faith.
Pan Shi smiled shyly: “There is just one place that my disciple has set up improperly, and I seek Master’s guidance.”
“Oh? And where is that?”
“It is this place, called the Kingdom of Women. My disciple was inspired by the former Female Continent. However, there are many problems…” He spoke at length, deeply troubled by its social structure.
Chu Yun laughed heartily and gently patted Pan Shi’s head: “Disciple, you are researching too deeply and have become too focused on the details. Let your Master resolve this for you.”
With that, he exhaled a gentle breath. This breath contained the Qi of Innate Primordial Essence and exuded the aura of Immeasurable Dao. It fell into Pan Shi’s Immortal Pouch World and transformed into a river in the Kingdom of Women.
“This is the Mother-Child River. Anyone who drinks this water will become pregnant and give birth to a daughter. What do you think?” Chu Yun asked with a smile.
Pan Shi’s eyes suddenly shone with boundless brilliance, and he spoke to Chu Yun with genuine adoration: “Master, this move is simply inspired! It’s like dotting the eyes of a dragon, instantly resolving all problems. Your disciple is utterly impressed!”
“Hahaha…” Chu Yun threw his head back and laughed, “Very good. Neither of you has disappointed your Master.”
Xiao Yan, filled with sudden inspiration, knelt down alongside Pan Shi. Both said, “We request Master to bestow titles upon us.” In the Spirit State, the titles of all Emperors were personally bestowed by Chu Yun.
Chu Yun pondered for a moment, then said, “Your light shines like the sun, high above, illuminating all under the heavens. Little Yanzi, since you use light as your symbol for spreading teachings, and you temper faith with floods, possessing an equal divine nature, you shall be known as ‘Shang’ [Up/Above].”
“Pan Shi, you have extraordinary creativity and outstanding talent, yet you are also down-to-earth, taciturn, and willing to spend immense effort to research and ponder. You are truly the essence of stone, a jade. Since you have become an Emperor, you shall be known as ‘Yu’ [Jade].”
The two disciples savored these titles in their mouths, finding them both extremely fitting. They immediately kowtowed and said in unison, “Thank you, Master, for bestowing these titles!”
“Hehehe, you are both good disciples, obedient disciples. Your Master looks forward to your brilliant futures.” Chu Yun’s pleased laughter echoed throughout the Yin Yang Grand Harem. The future was destined to be even more splendid.
