Chapter 41: There’s a Cow!
“Magical girls, your movements are even slower than an old grandma’s.”
The black creature lay on its back on the ground, clearly in a state of having drawn in breath but unable to exhale. Its limbs had vanished, with countless butterflies perched on its wounds, tearing at its body with their mouthparts.
The gray Butterfly Girl sat cross-legged on her scythe, her face filled with disdain for the magical girls.
“With me around, this wicked guy would have escaped, you know.”
Xia Mo, who had just dealt with the dark serpent summoned by the creature, froze in her expression. She was about to say something to lighten the atmosphere, but then she saw her two juniors hurriedly coming over.
Well, it looked like soft words were out of the question; otherwise, her private relationship with Dark Butterfly would definitely be exposed.
“We can take him down without you!” Xia Mo puffed out her chest and spoke sternly to Dark Butterfly, feeling the admiration-filled gazes of Siam and Linglan upon her.
“Yeah, you loser, don’t talk big!” Luo Shuangxing chimed in loudly.

“In total, three matches, I’ve won two, you’ve won one, and that last one was you ganging up on me.” Luo Shuangyue extended her hands, showing two fingers for two wins and a finger for one, reminding the magical girls of her overall superiority.
Besides, she lost that time because she was outnumbered. The magical girls only won thanks to their shameless tactics; they should just have a fair one-on-one duel.

Conversely, Dark Butterfly knew far more about her senior.

“Dark Butterfly! Stop it!” As she saw her junior’s eyes reddening from what Dark Butterfly said, Xia Mo hurriedly intervened, desperately signaling Dark Butterfly to stop.
