Chapter 85: The Power of the Magic Department
Xia Mo’s defiance was incredibly decisive and firm. No matter how Luo Shuangyue tried to persuade her, she stubbornly refused to change her stance.

With just a quick glance, Luo Shuangyue saw at least ten magical girls armed with distinctive weapons.
In another screen, she even spotted a silver-haired girl standing atop a giant silver dragon, being surrounded by several monsters but effortlessly sending them flying with a swish of the dragon’s tail.
“‘Silver Radiance Dragon Maiden’…” a name slipped from Luo Shuangyue’s lips.
This girl was the top magical girl under Bai Ye, an outstanding figure even among Blooming Level magical girls.
What kind of action would compel the Magic Department to deploy this top-notch powerhouse?
“This is footage of a battle that took place not long ago in Illusion Mushroom City. The Magic Department gathered fifteen Initial Bloom magical girls and three Blooming Level magical girls to launch a surprise raid on Snake Fang.”
“In just half an hour, Snake Fang was completely uprooted, with the organization’s leader captured alive by the three Blooming Level magical girls, and is currently undergoing interrogation in the Magic Department’s prison.”
Monise briefly explained the content on the screen.
A deeply entrenched large organization in Illusion Mushroom City could not withstand even half an hour against the furious Magic Department. This was undoubtedly a warning to those with ulterior motives.
Don’t think the Magic Department is easy to bully. If you think they are, it’s only because they have more pressing matters to address. If you were one of those pressing matters, you would know just how colossal the Magic Department truly is.

At this point, the Magic Department disregarded any investigatory procedures. After quickly confirming that the information submitted from Xinghai City was accurate, the Magic Department immediately mobilized and took down Snake Fang within a day.
“What a terrifying power… With the strength of the Magic Department, if they wanted to, I doubt any of the famous evil organizations could withstand their relentless pursuit, right?” After watching the entire battle process, Luo Shuangyue let out a light sigh.
No wonder this organization holds the highest military power in today’s human world; their combat effectiveness when provoked is truly despairing.
“As long as they don’t cross that bottom line, the Magic Department generally won’t care too much about organizations like ours, and might even turn a blind eye, after all, there are some things they cannot do themselves,” Monise said, turning off the screen, her voice devoid of any fluctuation.

Otherwise, magical girls won’t tolerate the Magic Department.

“This time, Snake Fang crossed the line; royal-class magical creatures are the most sensitive boundary, and this incident indirectly illustrates that this royal-class magical creature has already established its own power.” Monise cast her gaze towards Luo Shuangyue.
“I suspect that someone from the Magic Department will come to find you soon. When you meet those people, don’t react too aggressively; after all, you are essentially one of them; they won’t harm you.”
Luo Shuangyue scratched her head. One of them?
“Another magical girl?”
“Of course, a magical girl. The Magic Department isn’t stupid; they probably realized long ago that you are a magical girl.” Monise chuckled twice. If she could see it, those people in the Magic Department would undoubtedly know.
As for why the leader of an evil organization would allow Luo Shuangyue, a magical girl, to join the organization… Please, how is Polar Night evil? Polar Night has always been a righteous organization with lofty aspirations!
It’s perfectly normal for magical girls to be attracted to the propaganda of Polar Night; not every magical girl believes in the Magic Department.
