Furthermore, with Astarotte and Zwei, who lack combat skills, also withdrawn, our numbers have been halved in an instant.
Remaining enemies: two Centicore cousins and their commander, Manmon.

The defeated Harpy sisters and the Lycanthrope, Moni Pruun, were rare beauties. They were completely different from the crude, brutish Demon Lord Army bastards.
It’s too late to say this, but could we not have saved the beautiful demon girls by impregnating their uteri with the Seiken-gan and turning them into summoned beasts?
Jokes aside, I re-evaluated our combat formation.
Dan Tsetsen and Yan Kurgard, who were still back-to-back and on guard, were assigned to Mai and Sharon, who had been facing them from the start, along with Ly, who joined later, and Edele.
Tirna was moved under Elise because her “Sand Wall” is excellent at defending against Manmon’s projectile attacks.

Furthermore, since Ly is a master of the rapier, comparable to Dietlinde who had left the front lines, she was judged to be more suited for close-quarters combat.
The key to magic attacks against the enemy commander, the mid-ranking demon Manmon, were Elise and Shera.
Until a moment ago, Shera was in her “Elder Sister Shera” form, wielding a Zantou, but she had now taken on her two-tailed “Elder Sister Shera” form.
However, the concern was that Dietlinde, who should have been keeping them in check, had withdrawn from the front lines.
If forbidden magic were to be used in this unrestrained state, it would be a terrible situation.
Airia and Ain were on standby to assist with the attacks.
As for harassment attacks, the summoner Kirika was assigned.

The next moment, Sharon silently approached Yan Kurgard from behind.

Perhaps the effect of the holy water was dramatically enhanced by Mai’s prayers, given her aptitude as a Saintess?
Thus, all of Manmon’s subordinates were vanquished.
“My subordinates were useless, weren’t they? They’re just low-ranking demons, after all. In that case, I suppose I’ll have to get a little serious.”
However, despite his subordinates being gone, the mid-ranking demon Manmon sighed, took out something that looked like silver coins from the leather pouch of gold coins, and scattered them around.
Then, soil piled up from the silver coins that fell to the ground, forming earthen figures.
These earthen figures then began to move and surrounded us in multiple layers.
These appeared to be Mud Golems.
To think he could create Mud Golems the moment his subordinate lower-ranking demons were gone!
Was this truly the work of a mid-ranking demon?
The party members were exhausted from the previous attacks.
This had turned into a dire situation.
We somehow needed to break through and retreat, but Manmon seemed to have plenty of leeway, so escaping wouldn’t be easy.

Just then, I noticed something flying from the east.

“Hal-sama, we’re finally back. Truly, we’ve been through a lot.”
“My inadequate youngest sister Swan Hilda is now a full-fledged Valkyrie.”
“Still, it was fortunate to have eliminated an Arch-Demon.”
“Swan Hilda, you must not neglect your training from now on.”
When the dust settled, Manmon had been vanquished.
At the same time, the Mud Golems surrounding us also crumbled back into a mass of earth.
And there, four Valkyries wielding divine swords had descended.
The one who approached me was Swan Hilda, who had been taken away on a mandatory training journey.
The Valkyries standing behind her were Frist, Mist, and Geirul, who had also witnessed Swan Hilda’s awakening as a Valkyrie.
“Welcome back, Swan Hilda.”
“I’m back, Hal-sama! Although the final test was to defeat a demon, it turned out to be an unexpectedly strong opponent, so it was helpful that my elder sisters also helped.”
Thus, the subjugation of the demons led by Manmon was completed. It turned out he was not a mid-ranking demon, but an Arch-Demon.
If we had continued fighting, we would have been annihilated.
And then the Valkyries departed after a brief greeting.
