Thus the Boy Runs Through the Labyrinth ~The Story of an Ordinary Boy Who Ended Up Punching Heroes, Demon Lords, and Even Gods~ – Chapter 720

And so, it has concluded. I’ll ramble a bit. You could also call this an afterword.

In terms of time alone, it’s been less than two years, but these have likely been the most fulfilling two years of my life.

Being biologically a bit… unusual, novels also function as a tool for me to connect with various people. Because of this, as this work has ended, an immense sense of satisfaction and an overwhelming loneliness have washed over me.

However, I believe this story was one that needed a period at the end, so I am happy to have reached a conclusion while you all still feel so wistful about it.

And so, once again, I express my gratitude to all readers who have engaged with this work in every way.

In an era where entertainment is now overwhelmingly abundant, it was truly fortunate to have you read this work and receive various thoughts and support. I even received feedback from people abroad, and it’s been a truly happy time.

Those thoughts greatly influenced the work for the better (in fact, there was a chapter that I completely rewrote to meet reader expectations, etc.).

I truly believe that much of your support pushed this work forward. Thank you so much.

Regarding my future activities, thanks to all of you, it has become possible to publish the book version of “And So the Boy Ran Through the Labyrinth,” so I intend to focus on that for now… at least, I hope to.

Unlike the web version, which allows me freedom, the book version involves significant financial investment and responsibility. It won’t be easy, and perhaps it might not go well, but we’ll deal with it when we get there.

The adventures of Ul and the boys have reached a conclusion in the web version, but in the book version, I will power it up, perhaps supplementing parts that couldn’t be shown, and do my best to show many new and exciting possibilities to all of you.

If you’d be so kind, please accompany me on this journey.

While my thoughts are on the book version, my activities on the web have also been incredibly valuable.

After all, reader feedback and reactions come in directly. Even if no comments are left, reader reactions are apparent in the numbers (mercilessly).

Especially from the latter half, when I gained a large readership, I was given intense periods of being hammered from all sides and sharpened, a consequence of my amateur creator tendencies and the compromises I made (which is why now, my earlier, unaddressed amateur tendencies are being beaten from all sides with the book’s publication).

If I could experience this again… I do think about that.

However, to do something of this scale again is not something I can say lightly, so I will think carefully!! Yes!! It’s impossible, I’ll die!!!!

I want to study styles that are a bit lighter and more accessible for readers. I also want to read many of the stories that I left untouched while writing. Everything I want to do keeps coming up. I will likely continue to create as long as I can, so please look forward to opportunities in the future.

Hoping that Ul and the others will watch over me, I will conclude here for now.

Thank you all so much for accompanying me through these intense days.

The book version of “And So the Boy Ran Through the Labyrinth” is now on sale.

This is my X account. It will be like Kakashi approaching the end, without even announcements of updates, but I should be able to announce bonus information… I’ll try my best.
