Chapter Twelve: The Choices You Make Determine My Script
Nagi believed she was a good person.
At least, on the surface, she appeared to be a person.
At the very least, she looked like a person.
Well, a suspected carbon-based life form.
Now, this suspected carbon-based life form was brainwashing “Evil Spirit Dokidoki-chan,” abbreviated as “DD-chan.” Oh no, it was analyzing the pros and cons for it.
As long as it was willing to possess Kanade, then it could leave her.
Between men and suspected carbon-based life forms, the former was at least still a person, right?
DD-chan’s expressions changed from resistance to wavering, to pondering with a lowered head, then to being tormented.
Nagi delivered the final blow.
“If you don’t agree, I’ll start picking my feet right in front of you tonight!”

A soft plush carpet lay in front of the bed, dotted with star patterns, and at that moment, Nagi’s bare little feet were stepping on it.
The entire room was filled with a strong sense of femininity, especially the faint floral scent which was uniquely feminine, making Kanade feel once again that Nagi was no longer the little girl she once was, but had become a graceful young lady.
Yet this room, which matched Nagi’s pure and cute appearance from any angle, felt a bit dissonant to Kanade.

Kanade couldn’t help but think.
“Tonight, Kanade-kun, you’re going to…”
“…I can just sleep on the floor.”
Kanade hastily interrupted Nagi’s words.
Because he knew she would definitely try to make him sleep on the same bed as her.

His mind was filled with images of Nagi’s petite, rounded backside and that hint of color.
Meanwhile, on the bed, Nagi occasionally stirred, unable to settle.
Time passed, and Nagi’s soft but anxious voice suddenly came through: “Kanade-kun, are you still awake?”
“…..Ah, um, yes,” Kanade replied, feeling a rush of guilt.
He then saw a slender, snow-white arm stretching out from the edge of the bed.
“…Can we hold hands while we sleep?”
Nagi’s weak demeanor, so different from her usual cheerful self, made Kanade’s heart race.
