A voice from behind called out. Good, I was looking for him. The old man was pattering down the hallway. He stopped in front of me, his shoulders heaving as he panted.

“Is that so? That’s good. The blockage has been cleared. We can go to the center.”
Great, that was faster than I expected. I was prepared to be stuck here for a few more days, so this is lucky.
