I understood that the crest engraved on the crystal pedestal belonged to the Dark Religion, which was led by the demon race.
After Fjörd’s protest was finished, we were told about the headquarters of that Dark Sect.
The place was very far from our current location, and it would likely take a considerable amount of time to reach it. It was less like an island and more like a continent; a single round island was surrounded in the center of a circular landmass with a missing portion.
“The headquarters are on this central island. But that’s not all; given its size, there are many villages scattered around it. Now, take this map.”
I received a more detailed map from Rondoral.
“This continent is called Zetsuky. It will be a long journey to get here. We’ll also have to prepare a ship, and we have no idea what might happen along the way. Are you really going?”
I looked back at everyone.
“It looks tough, but I’m a little excited.”
“Mmm, it looks tough, but it seems worth going.”
Philiana and Sharin nodded.
“Piyo’s going too! I want to have more adventures! Nina, you’re going, right?”
“Ugh, I can’t help it. We’ve come this far, so I’ll go.”
Cecilia had a displeased look on her face, but no one else voiced any objections.
We thanked Rondoral to prepare for our journey.
“Hehehe, it’s fine. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this excited. Thank you, Cecilia. Listen to what your companions say, okay?”
Still not convinced, she replied with a grumpy “Yes.”
We returned to the Satyr village to prepare for our journey. Even during our break, Piyo continued to try her hand at magic as usual.
“How’s it going? Do you think you can do magic yet?”
“Mmm, I still can’t. It’s difficult.”
Piyo grunted, trying to gather energy between her wings. Was that how magic was produced…?
“Ah, more importantly, Pauline seems a bit down. Why do you think that is?”
When I glanced over, Pauline, who was usually happily by Piyo’s side, was sulking a little distance away.
