Both sides accepted each other’s terms, and the kidnapped individuals were safely returned to the village.

We, who had also managed to return safely, returned to the village as well. The sisters were embracing each other joyfully.

Standing next to Piyo’s older sister was a male, likely the brother Piyo had mentioned. He was bandaged in places, perhaps injured in battle. He was about the same height as me, or slightly taller.

I told her about my journey so far.
