The misunderstanding of us being intruders was cleared up, and the three of us were going to the Naga village for the injured Sharin.
Led by a Naga girl, we were guided to the village. The houses were built on several pillars, which made them elevated. Instead of stairs, there were ramps leading to the entrance.
“Mom, I’m home. Where did you put the box with the medicine?”
Inside, there were no partitions and, in contrast to the Harpy’s home, no large furniture like desks or chairs. In the back of the room, a woman who appeared to be her mother was weaving a basket while lying down.
“Oh my, did you do something again?”
“Hello! Excuse us for intruding!”
Piyo greeted them energetically and sat on a rug nearby. Next to her, she gently laid down Sharin, whom she had been supporting.
I took the medicine box from the Naga girl and treated Sharin’s injury. Fortunately, it wasn’t a severe enough injury to break a bone. Her condition was slowly improving with time.
“I understand about the Harpy and the cat thief, but what about you?”
The girl looked at me, frowning.
“I am Arisugawa Hiroaki, and these are Pillon and Sharin. It’s a long story, so to put it briefly, it seems I was transported from another world.”
“Huh? Are you out of your mind?”
Well, that reaction was to be expected.
“I thought so at first too, but based on the clothes and knowledge he had, it seems to be the truth.”
“We’re looking for a powerful mage so that Hiro can return to his original home.”
The girl still looked at us with suspicious eyes.
“Hmm, I don’t quite understand, but for the time being, I’m Nina. Nice to meet you. And where is the cat thief… I mean, Sharin, heading?”
Sharin spread out the map she was holding and showed it to Nina.
“I see, so you guys were also near the town.”
Looking closely at the map, a large town was marked where Sharin was pointing.
“Oh, what kind of town is it?”
“It’s a town ruled by humans.”
