Delia was defeated with the cooperation of Cecilia and Lauren.
Delia thrashed amongst the threads that bound her.
“Grrr, what is this! Don’t mess with me, you spider woman!”
Lauren sneered at the frustrated enemy and nudged her with her leg.
“Heh, too bad. That’s what happens when you’re distracted by your sword.”
So that’s why Cecilia wasn’t injured earlier; Lauren had saved her. Those invisible threads attached to the sword were hers too. Arachne’s threads were indeed impressive. Even now, the enemy was restrained by those tough threads.
“Only one left, I wonder if Elana is okay.”
At Cecilia’s words, I turned around to see Elana and Veronica dealing with her. The enemy had retreated into a rocky shell and was on the defensive. However, even facing them together, they couldn’t break through the defensive wall.
“Are you two okay?”
“Huh? Do I look okay?! Harrumph, damn it, they’re just staying inside their shell. It would be great if I could get close and destroy it, but they’ll probably just throw those rocks at me if I do.”
Veronica seemed quite damaged, her breathing ragged. This was bad; there was no one among the members with enough power to destroy that rock mass. Philiana might have been able to kick it somehow, but…
“Hey, we’ve captured your other sister! Surrender!”
I shouted towards the rock, but there was no response. It must have reached her ears. Then, I heard the ground tremor from behind. Veronica glared at the rock mass.
“This brat, resorting to dirty tricks even now!”
She was putting up a last-ditch resistance from within her rocky shelter. If it’s all for nothing, she’s probably trying to kill as many of us as possible. But contrary to my expectations, laughter echoed from inside the rock.
“Fufufu, you think you’ve won? I’m far stronger than Delia. Did you really think I was just hiding?”
The rock that had covered Labona shifted its shape, becoming a wall to protect her.
“Do you think you have enough power left to push back my rocks?”
With that, she sent a part of the wall hurtling towards us. A large stone approached with incredible speed. The sheer force made my whole body stiffen, slowing me down. Veronica, perhaps thinking she couldn’t deflect it, jumped aside but it was too late, and she was hit directly in the flank.
“Guh…!!”
She was blown away by the stone’s power and rolled across the ground. Clutching her stomach in pain, she tried to stand up.
“Well, well, I still have plenty of stones. Or would you prefer bigger ones? Hurry and stop me… or your friends will be crushed~”
Laughing gleefully, she moved the rock that Philiana had been left on. Seeing this, Elana gritted her teeth.
“What a cowardly act. It looks like Sharin and I have to go now since we can move.”
“N-no, no, wait a moment, let me go first. I’ll create an opening, so I want you to deliver a decisive blow there.”
For some reason, Karubene appeared here.
“Hey, you’re not planning on charging in again, are you?”
“Hahaha, that’s right, Brother. Alright Piyo, let’s go. Are you ready?”
The Piyo who was thrown seemed to be unharmed. When her name was called, she replied loudly, “Yes!”
