Sharin lunged at the Werewolf Woman who had insulted her companions.
The Werewolf Woman turned her sharp gaze towards Sharin, who had charged at her. Sharin, not to be outdone, glared back. Perhaps she disliked the condescending attitude. Or was it some other strategy? But the situation remained uncertain.
“Hey, Sharin, maybe we should just stay quiet…”
“What’s wrong, are you scared of me? You’re big, but as they say, the smaller the dog, the louder it barks.”
Ignoring my words, Sharin continued to provoke. The Werewolf Woman, who seemed to have a short temper to begin with, bristled and showed her anger.
“Is that so? You want to die that badly. I thought I’d let you live as a slave because you’re a woman, but I’ve changed my mind! I’ll kill you first. Come out!”
The Monkey Woman next to her tried to intervene, but she opened the cell door and reached out towards Sharin. Her large hand, as big as her face, lunged forward. Before I could help, Sharin was thrown outside.
“What’s wrong, get up! I’ll torment you until you beg me to kill you!”
In response, Sharin stood up as if saying “just as I wished” and reached for her dagger. Anyone could see this was reckless. It was true that she had displayed high combat capabilities in her previous battles, but her opponent was not human. In terms of speed and power, her opponent was overwhelmingly superior. If she took one hit, it wouldn’t end well.
“Hey, stop it, she’ll die!”
I shouted through the iron bars, but the Monkey Woman simply shrugged. Meanwhile, the fight had already begun. The Werewolf Woman swung her powerful arm to knock Sharin down. Sharin, however, narrowly dodged it and stepped back. But before her feet could touch the ground, another blow was delivered. It was faster than I could have imagined. Seeing this, her companions began to fidget.
“Hey, let me out too. Please.”
“Are you listening, you furry woman!”
Philiana and Nina shouted, but the Monkey Woman ignored them. While this was happening, we didn’t know when Sharin would become prey to those sharp claws.
“Hmm? You’re just running away, despite saying all that!”
Finally, the hand of evil reached out to Sharin, who had been driven to the edge of the open space. She was grabbed by her clothes and then thrown back into the center of the ring. As if to press her advantage, the Werewolf Woman grabbed the fallen Sharin, lifted her up, slammed her to the ground again, and then threw her. With a powerful blow, the small Sharin’s body flew up and rolled like a doll. Her companions averted their eyes at the tragic sight. This was too unfair, the difference in strength was obvious. Anyone could see that.
Unable to bear it any longer, Karubene leaned out of the cage and shouted.
“Hey! Is it fun fighting someone smaller than you?!”
“It seems you’re the next one who wants to commit suicide.”
The Werewolf Woman bristled and bared her teeth. Karubene swallowed and took a step back.
