He realized the cause of the Gate to Hell was the crystal ball and decided to stop it.
I started running towards the altar.
“I won’t let you!”
An old man, wrapped in a black cloak, pushed me down, entangling my legs. He straddled me and grabbed my neck with his sharp, eerie hand.
I desperately tried to push away his terrifyingly contorted hand, but he squeezed my neck with a strength I wouldn’t expect from an old man.
On impulse, I drew the dagger at my waist and thrust it into the old man’s thigh.
“Gah! You brat!”
“Haa, Piyo, break that crystal…!”
I don’t know if Piyo is nearby, but I called out anyway. While the old man writhed in pain, I tried to approach the altar again. Just then, a woman different from the demons so far emerged from the gate leading to Hell.
The woman had large, bat-like wings growing from her back and two horns protruding from her forehead. What was most striking was her bizarre outfit. She was clad in a revealing outfit, like a swimsuit from an adult magazine’s gravure idol, over her voluptuous body.
“Ufufu, it’s been a while since I’ve been able to come to this world. I’m lucky today. Oh?”
The female demon spotted me, twisted her red-lipsticked lips, and smiled eerily.
“It’s time for a meal, then. Well, it’s a bit meager for a feast, but… fine, it’s better than nothing.”
As she said that, she floated closer to me. The dagger was still stuck in the old man.
As I hesitated, unsure what to do, the woman closed the distance between us. A sweet scent wafted from her long hair, my vision blurred, and I felt a sensation of my body floating.
“Stand back! You demon!”
Sharin’s voice in my ear shocked me awake.
Before I knew it, Sharin and Nina had gathered around me.
“My, my, I thought you were just a virgin boy, but you’re quite capable, aren’t you?”
The female demon looked down at me and laughed.
