After talking with Aileen, we had lunch at the hotel.
While resting in the room for a while, Cecilia and Karubene, who had gone to sell jewels, returned. It seems they bought clothes as I told them to, as Cecilia is wearing a cute white fluffy one-piece dress and adorable sandals.
“Hahaha! Brother, we’ve made a killing!”
Karubene proudly holds up a bag full of gold coins. Just as she said, it seems like a considerable amount can be expected. In contrast, Cecilia looks somewhat restless.
“Good work. Cecilia, your dress is cute!”
The moment I said that, Cecilia glared at me.
“It’s good, isn’t it? I chose it. I have good taste, don’t I?”
“…I don’t like it.”
Apparently, she doesn’t like being called “cute.” Nina and Sharin also came out of the room.
“Welcome back. How much did you make? You didn’t sell them for free, did you? Oh, that dress is cute. It’s rare to see you wear something like that.”
Cecilia looked displeased again when Nina called her cute. I had only ever seen her wear pants and a shirt before, so it felt fresh. Her feet were also in light sandals, unlike the long boots she always wears.
Unhappy, Cecilia silently returned to the room. Seeing that, Karubene laughed amusingly.
“Hehehe, did you see her face? I picked out a good outfit! By the way, can we go sightseeing for a bit?”
I ushered Karubene back into the room. Just then, Piyo and Philiana, who had gone shopping, returned. They were carrying many paper bags in both hands.
“Phew, phew, we’re back. We got carried away and bought clothes for everyone too. I hope they fit.”
Philiana has sweat on her forehead, perhaps from walking around in the heat. Piyo, on the other hand, is even more drenched in sweat, possibly from overexcitement.
“You know, you know, so many things happened! Um, there were lots of clothes, and shops, and Piyo, I drank lots of juice too!”
As soon as she returned, she started talking about her experiences with sparkling eyes. Her words were fragmented, likely due to excitement. She was talking so enthusiastically that she even forgot to breathe.
“Calm down, calm down. I’ll listen properly. For the time being, take a shower and change.”
“Yes, we will. Come on, Piyo-chan, let’s go.”
Philiana took the still-excited Piyo and headed back to the room. After that, we immediately distributed the clothes we had bought to the members waiting in the room. We spent a quiet time in the cool room with the fan on. What should we do tomorrow? I thought it wouldn’t be bad to sometimes forget our original purpose and enjoy a vacation.
