Piyo and Philiana enjoy shopping under the hot sun.
The next day, Piyo suggested going to the sea. However, not everyone was going. Veronica, Lauren, and Elana would stay behind. When I told Elana we were leaving, she stretched out on her bed and only wagged the tip of her tail.
“Is everyone’s injury okay now?”
“Ah, we’ve had enough rest. I also wanted to learn a little about this town.”
Sharin said with a smile. She was amazing, considering how she had fought the Amazons’ werewolf women. I grabbed Piyo, who looked like she might fly off somewhere in her excitement, and we returned to the beach where we had first arrived. It was as lively as ever. Come to think of it, we needed swimsuits to swim in the sea. I had been away from going out to play for so long that I had completely forgotten.
“If we’re going to the sea, we’ll need swimsuits. Shall we go buy some?”
When I pointed to a store, everyone tilted their heads.
“Swimsuits? Do such things exist? Are they for wearing when you swim?”
Philiana looked around and at the clothes of the people passing by. They probably didn’t know because they had never played at the sea before. Besides, there was no sea near their hometown. In fact, they might not have even had swimsuits.
“See, everyone on the beach is wearing them, aren’t they?”
Everyone’s gazes followed my pointing finger. Seeing that, Nina pouted.
“Which ones are swimsuits? You don’t mean those underwear-like things, do you? I thought they were wearing those clothes because it was hot.”
“The Melusine tribe also wore such simple clothing. Were those swimsuits as well?”
What the Melusine tribe wore in the rivers of the deep forest was probably just cloth, but they were similar.
“The material is different, but yes. Because if we went in with our current clothes, it would be hard to swim, right?”
“Hmm, so I just need to take off my clothes!”
I hurriedly stopped Piyo, who answered with a smile. Swimsuits are not underwear. However, everyone’s reaction to their shape was not favorable. Cecilia, in particular, looked like she wanted to go home already. But Karubene was the opposite and seemed to be having fun.
“Hahaha, I see. So this is a way to legally wear revealing clothes. Hey, Cecilia, shall I pick out a good one for you?”
“We’re not here to play. Haven’t you forgotten the original objective? We’re chasing the Dark Elves, aren’t we?”
As Cecilia turned to leave, Piyo called out, “Let’s play!”
“That’s right, it’s okay to do this once in a while. This is also part of our journey. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.”
Persuaded by Philiana, Nina and Cecilia grudgingly headed towards the store.
